Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Philadelphia

We loved our stay at the Aaron Burr House! My daughter is a huge Hamilton fan, so staying here and in the Theodosia suite was right up her alley. Lisa and Ricardo were excellent hosts—we felt right at home right away. Shops and restaurants downtown are all walkable in just a few minutes. The house itself is beautiful and steeped in history. Such a fun, pleasant stay!

We have stayed with Jo-Ann several times, since we have a recurring event in this area and she has been extremely friendly without being overbearing and very flexible and accommodating each time. We will be happy to stay with her in the future.

This was my favourite Place to stay during our USA-Trip. If you like a modern hotel, this is probably not for you. But for us, it was perfect. We had a huge room with the coziest bed ever. We enjoyed the breakfast (whitch is inculded in the price) everyday. The Staff is super friendly and heartwarming. If you are looking for a place to sleep and you are in the area, this is your place to go.

I really enjoyed my stay there while being here in Philadelphia for the first time in my life. What a great city! Jo's location is very convenient to access downtown. Jo's home has radiated heating, which is wonderful for those sensitive to central heated air drying the nose and throat. Her home is quaint, warm, and inviting and situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. If I ever return to this great city, I will be sure to book Jo's BnB!

What a great find! JoAnn is a brilliant host and makes everything so easy. Her home is perfectly located in a residential area just a few blocks from the village and university. This is a real BnB, where she makes a beautiful breakfast for you, rare these days. I found the bed to be perfect. The room was just what I needed, with my own air control and work space, I had everything I need. This place is a gem. Book it.

Ricardo was a delight and took great care of us. He made fantastic breakfasts each morning. While the house was built in the 1700s it could use a bit of attention in the bathroom. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and toilet needed multiple flushes. The other guests were all friendly and we definitely enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay! The room was nice and the property is lovely! The proprietor on site is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and nicely presented in the sunny common room with a great view of the fall colors outside. Definitely recommend.

Ricardo was an outstanding host and we felt right at home from the second we arrived. The house is beautiful with many wonderful touches—very clean and cozy. Ricardo went out of his way to make us feel “part of the family” and creates a warm environment for all guests. Breakfast the following morning was exceptional and made from scratch. We will definitely be back in the future and will recommend to friends :-)

Marcia is nice, friendly, and responsive. The place is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The place is close to transit stations (a regional rail station, a few bus stops, and a trolley station). There're several stores and restaurants close to the the rail station. The neighborhood is peaceful. In all, during my stay, I felt at home, and would like to stay again if I have a chance!

We loved our stay at James and Dorothea’s place! Their bed & breakfast is gorgeous inside and out! The hosts made us feel right at home in luxurious accommodations, a hard balance to achieve, and did so expertly. Breakfast was more than enough and delicious every day, and Dorothea took extra care to accommodate my delicate gut with the fruits I can eat and gluten-free bread, tortillas and waffles. I loved walking my dog and seeing the horses every morning. This was a fantastic, romantic get away for my husband and me, well-priced, and the first Air B&B I feel I will definitely return to. Thank you, thank you for opening your home to visitors. We loved it!

We had a group staying for a month which was something he was not used to, but Steve was very accommodating. It was an amazing place to stay and is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, a gym (which was very accommodating by offering a one-month membership), and it was easy to get around the area. It is a phenomenal house, and the cat was great company greeting us when we came home or got up. It was like a home away from home having everything we needed including a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely look forward to staying there again.

Molly and Dan are fantastic people. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like a party of the household. The house is full of warmth and charm found in antiquity. They’re black cat was super friendly. Would 100% recommend a stay at the James Matthew’s house. Beautiful garden, private covered porch, and so many snacks!!

Amazing stay, wonderful hosts. Every amenity including healthy snack options like fresh fruit, milk, high protein yogurt and seltzer h2o.Delicious muffins at check in. Spacious and immaculate. Furniture that meets all the family needs. Everything is clearly labeled. You feel comfy and welcome. I would come back again. This would be wonderful for an extended stay. As a mom it made my life so much easier. Care and thought creates an environment to meet every need.

I have stayed at many B&Bs and this was, by far, the best experience that I’ve had. The place was amazing and exactly as described. It was a beautiful area, and Dolores might’ve been the most welcoming host I have ever met! The breakfast was on point and everything about this experience was perfect. I can’t recommend it enough!

Molly and Dan were nice people and kind to talk to. Their place was cute and clean, we loved the little extras and enjoyed meeting their kitty. The place was easy to find and close to the train. Thank you for sharing your historic home with us. We really enjoyed our stay!

Alex and Sarah were super helpful with clear instructions and a binder full of info, including some awesome local spots to check out. The stay was amazing, it honestly felt like a home away from home. As someone who’s pretty introverted, I really appreciated all the privacy. Also, it was super clean, so no worries about any unwanted pests tagging along. Thank you Alex and Sarah for such a great stay!

We found our home away from home in New Jersey. Whenever my husband and I travel to NJ, this is the first place we will check to see if they have room for us to stay at the Lily Inn on High Street. We loved the area. The Lily Inn is walking distance to the Delaware river. The Lily Inn has free parking it may be around the corner but it is free. This building will bring you back in time. The Queen Room with Garden View has an updated bathroom so you can relax after a nice hot shower. Remember it is an old house so you do have to wait for the hot water, but once its hot it stays hot for the remaining time of your shower. The bed was so comfortable the both of us slept like babies. We had warm weather so we did not need the fireplace. We might go back in the winter just to try out the fire place. Our Breakfast was amazing!! Made with love by Tom and his wife Alejandra. They made us feel so welcomed told us a little history of the Lily Inn and the surrounding area. Some people can not do stairs so keep in mind this place does have stairs to the bedrooms. We met with Devin on our last day of our stay she was also welcoming. The garden in the back is a nice touch to just sit and relax or if you like to do yoga or Tai Chi like my husband. We will be back whenever we are in the area. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We never felt to welcomed as we did at the Lily Inn. Remember to put Lily Inn on High street on your GPS lol. We met the owner of the place and she gave us her number so we could call her anytime. We had such a wonderful time my husband and I didn't want to leave. Until next time.

Great spot in Quakertown which is a downtown that is coming back, which is so good to see. A cute fall parade and street fair was going on when we arrived. Awesome cafe, and I mean showstopper unique breakfasts, at Karlton cafe, in walking distance. Toured area colleges and would recommend McClellands in Allentown for dinner and best brews - woman owned business . We loved the food left for us in the kitchen, the two bedroom spaces, as well as all being clean and ready for a comfortable stay for us and our pooch. Quiet in the separate suite even though they share the residence. Super convenient for our stay!

Easy to check in and very clean. Would stay again if in area.
