This place was absolutely exceptional! It was spotless, with open spaces and a breathtaking view that was truly to die for. The property was incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our stay. Everything we needed was provided, making it a seamless and comfortable experience. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the incredible wildlife. Every night during our sundowner drinks, we were met by 15 hippos and 2 crocs – an unforgettable experience that made this stay truly special. And to top it off, the monkey encounters were absolutely magical. Watching the mommies with their little babies was such a heartwarming and special memory. It’s something we will never forget! Can’t recommend this place enough – a must-do trip!

I highly recommend this location if you're looking to connect with nature or enjoy a peaceful moment with your family. Hoedspruit is an excellent place to immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature or experience some adventure. Susan and Per’s home is ideally situated in a secure estate monitored by security and surrounded by wildlife. We felt safe and well-connected. The home was updated, clean, and provided everything needed for a bush stay and more. We highly recommend this home for your next visit after exploring the wild. 5 stars!!!

Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft genauso wie beschrieben. Tracy, die Managerin der Unterkunft hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Leider mußten wir krankheitsbedingt früher abreisen. Hierbei war Tracy unglaublich hilfreich! Vielen Dank Tracy für all die Unterstützung und Hilfe und sorry, daß wir so viele Unannehmlichkeiten und Mehrarbeit verursacht haben!!! Ich hoffe, wir kommen irgendwann mal wieder und können dann den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen.

Absolutely magical! Our stay at this incredible spot was nothing short of magical. The views are breathtaking, the space is beautifully and uniquely designed, and the entire experience felt like a peaceful retreat from the world. Waking up to the mountain view was unforgettable. Everything was just as described (if not better), and we felt right at home. Andre and Erna were wonderful, warm, and generous with their time and local knowledge. One of the most unforgettable experiences was feeding the zebras that wander right up to the house. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a special, soul-restoring getaway. Great place for lovers needing rejuvenation of all sorts. The one thing that was a slap on the face was the falling leaves into the pool,it was too much for one to swim in. The place was fab and our host the best.Tracey much love.

If you're looking for a little piece of heaven, this is the place to be! The house was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed and more. Surrounded by spectacular scenery and the wildlife right on our doorstep was the highlight of our trip. Close to shops, restaurants, game drives and Kruger National Park. Nice warm swimming pool with a fab mountain view. Wish we could have stayed longer but will most definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Desiree’s house. It is incredibly well equipped and everything fits perfectly together creating a modern African style. Also, Desiree and her son Curtis are very friendly, helpful and careful. We felt as if we stayed with friends. We definitely want to come back and we can highly recommend this place.

Excelente casa!! Espectacular!! La hemos disfrutado unos días y nos ha encantado. La piscina preciosa, la zona de barbacoa nos encantó. Las habitaciones son enormes y disponen de todos los servicios. Los baños también espectaculares. El único inconveniente que tiene la casa es la electricidad. Dispone de placas solares y de generador. La única mejora que haría es aumentar la autonomía del generador y quizás más baterías del sistema de placas solares. No obstante es una casa espectacular y volvería sin ninguna duda! Excelente!!! Por cierto, Rudzani, la persona del servicio, es excelente, deja todo muy limpio y ayuda mucho.

Sibongile’s place was the perfect stop off for us before heading towards Kruger Park! The beds were comfy, clean sheets. The house itself has been recently refurbished inside, with new furniture I felt super clean! We would definitely return here again.

Call of the Wild is a must visit if you are planning a trip to the Hoedspruit area, Sue’s place is comfy, clean, well maintained and has all the amenities as listed on Airbnb, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the bush over New Years ☺️

This has truly been one of the most incredible holidays in the bush. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spacious, clean and beautifully kept. The outdoor area was amazing and had a stunning view of the dam with wildlife and the kitchen and rest of the home had everything we could possibly need. Katie was a brilliant host and met us as we arrived to show us around and gave us all the information we needed. She was also available throughout our stay for when we had any questions. I definitely recommend this home for a peaceful stay in the bush and would love to come back in future!

We absolutely loved our stay! Besides the incredible estate and its surroundings, the house was amazing. From the finishes to the music choices, we loved every bit of our stay! It ticked all the boxes and we felt truly rested at the end! Simon was an awesome host. Always available and proactive in his communication. We left wondering not if, but when we will be back!! I would not hesitate to book this place if you are looking to go to the area.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We even contemplated extending because the place just exceeded our expectations and the scenery made us want to stay longer. The host, manager and cleaners were so friendly to us and interacted with us with a smile everytime. Looking forward to visiting again

Fika Futi is a home from home. Amazing to wake surrounded by nature, bird calls and even some animals passing by the house. We saw Impala, kudu, warthog, giraffe and duiker right from the verandah. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and good quality. Even though there are other houses quite nearby it felt private and peaceful. Natasha was professional and extremely efficient, as well as warm and attentive. We had everything we needed. It was a very happy stay and we will be back!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Anni war sehr engagiert und hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und uns viele Tipps rund um den Krüger gegeben. Sie war immer erreichbar und wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei ihr. Besondere Empfehlung von ihr: Die Aussichtsplattform wo man auf den Krüger schauen kann.

Our stay at the Elephant Chalet at Thula Private Lodge was peaceful and comfortable. The chalet is spacious, with a bedroom and a loft, one with a queen size bed, the other with two single beds. They each have mosquito netting that works quite well. The aircon in both the bedroom and the loft works great. On a 41 degree Celsius day, the chalet stayed perfectly cool. The outdoor area is spacious and has a great braai stand. There was plenty of firewood on arrival. The pool is lovely, and the pool area is shaded and gets a nice breeze. The staff were extremely helpful. Daniel met us and gave us the keys and all the information we needed. He also invited us to watch the crocodiles being fed (which is more of a spectacle than I thought it would be!). He was always on hand if we needed anything, going to extra lengths to get us what we needed if it was unavailable. The reserve itself is what you'd expect – open, dry, etc. There is a crocodile enclosure, but aside from that, all other animals roam free. If you're lucky and stay on the lookout, you may see elephants (we didn't, but we didn't go looking for them, either). We did see a lot of springbok. For anyone who is sensitive to this sort of thing, the chalet does have taxidermied animal heads – two outside and one inside. Note that there is a dirt road for the final few kilometres towards the reserve. It shouldn't be a problem for most cars, but small run-around cars might have a hard time.
