+ compact, yet beautifully designed and well-equipped to maximise the use of the space with modern, quality fittings and absolutely everything one might need. + strong wi-fi signal, hot water good, comfy bed with quality bedding + quick response from owner every time and easy to follow instructions about how to find the place, local area knowledge, how to work the kitchen appliances, etc. + right next door to the owner's house in a very pretty garden setting with local village shops a walk away - this worked beautifully for us for one night. The only negative I can think of is that there is very little worktop space in the kitchen area (which has been designed brilliantly for such a small space) so may not suit if you are into self- catering all the time and making elaborate meals. Melanie’s annex is very clean and comfortable and was extremely peaceful. Melani was away so I had the place to myself and all I heard was birdsong. The bed was super comfy and quite hard to get out of! A lovely stay.

Marco and Justyna’s cottage was delightful, charming and full of character. Thoughtfully and artistically decorated and with a well equipped quirky kitchen / diner . It was spotlessly clean and well organised . We really enjoyed our short stay there. Marco and Justyna were responsive , helpful and friendly hosts . They were very accommodating and we were able to charge our electric bikes there . Thank you very much . Within a stone’s throw was also a really excellent Indian Cuisine restaurant..with excellent value : a gem ..

We spent three nights in the garden room and we loved it. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Absolutely loved listening to the birdsong morning and evening! The bonus for us was the 8 am delivery of the breakfast box - so delicious and welcoming. We would highly recommend this little gem especially if like us you want to include a visit to Avebury which is very close by 😊
