TAKE IT EASY at this unique and tranquil getaway. It was formerly an art studio, located next to the 1939 main house, built by a dentist. His wife was the artist. Completely renovated in September 2023. Paris has a beautiful downtown square minutes away. This is a beautiful country get away. Plenty of space to run around, ride horses, or have a fire and roast marshmallows. It is close to a charming small town with cute local shopping. Also very close to the Sulphur River where you can go fossil hunting, hiking, picnicing etc. Driving distance from Bonham State Park. Within a few miles of the Bois D'Arc Lake and we have plenty of room to park your boat or trailer during your stay.

This place is fantastic! So peaceful...so quiet...so spacious...with views of open land and sky for miles. Our family (six adults) spent the night having come for a wedding nearby. We all had tons of space to get ready for the dressy occasion. Then, once we returned late that evening we could all fall into our beds...so many beds! Rajani was a dream host...super friendly and super responsive. Would stay here again!

We loved staying in this adorable little house with a history! It's perfect for two people and within walking distance to the local grocery store, several local eateries (great Mexican restaurant!) and a couple nice bar/grills. The bed & linens were very comfortable and everything worked just as it should. As always, nice to have a washer and dryer so we don't move on to our next destination or head home with laundry to do! We brought our own small charcoal grill and plenty of space to use it while sitting on the back porch. I didn't use the kitchen much but the coffee pot and microwave worked well. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever back in the area. It's a small town but larger towns are short drives away and Dallas is only about an hour and half. Best of both worlds!
