Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Air-conditioned bedroom upstairs, with hammam shower (steam bath), Emperor bed (2x2 m) in a renovated old hotel, private TV lounge, in the center of the desertified village of Rochefort-Montagne. Bedroom: 2 x 2 m mattress on slatted frame, Senseo coffee machine, kettle and small refrigerator. Nestled in the heart of Sancy, with a breathtaking view of the Château de Murol, and the Sancy massif, come and enjoy this cozy cocoon, 50 m² including a bathroom, a small bedroom with a magnificent view. Outside, you will have access to a private plot of 3200 m² including 400 m² fenced, as well as a terrace on stilts of 9 m². This chalet is located 40 min from Clermont Ferrand, and 20 min. from Super-Besse by car. ***Cleaning and bed linen included in the rate***

Total price includes bed sheets, towel and tea towel. You will stay in an apartment for 4 people plus a baby (cot and high chair provided) of 55 m2 with balcony on the 2nd and top floor (no elevator). It consists of a kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom/toilet (clawfoot bathtub). The house is composed of 2 apartments. Ours is on the 1st floor. We remain as discreet as possible to give you maximum use of the house and garden.

The enclosed courtyard with a grassy area will allow you to rest in peace. The village is quiet, a few kilometers from the A89 motorway exit, La Bourboule, Orcival and 35 minutes from Clermont Ferrand. You will be in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Park between Dôme and Sancy and can go hiking from the apartment. A beautiful area to discover... If you wish, we can go see and pet our Highland cows. You guys are welcome
