Mandala House. An oasis in the Jungle

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Good location, a few steps away from the national park entrance. Layout and design was nice, comfortable accommodation. Raquel organized transportation to and from Tortueguero through her company. Bring your own towels because the pool you can use at the hotel down the street does not provide them and the host won't provide additional towels even if you ask for them- you get one for each guest which is difficult during rainy season. Towels also smelled moldy. Overall a good stay, it's a small town and easy to get everywhere you need to go within a few minutes walk.

Natures blessing, full Serenity!

ScottRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful farm setting, tons of birds and wildlife with amazing 360 views of the land and mountains, waterfalls and rivers run thru the property. The home itself was well equipped and beautifully laid out. Felt completely safe, thanks to Findly and Pete. Both are 2 of the most friendly and well trained dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure to get to know. Mason and Megan met us and showed us the lay of the land and were always nearby and helpful with our questions. Would and will be visiting again. Thanks for a wonderful ending to our Costs Rican adventure!

Casa Tortuga: Become a traveler, not a tourist.

A very unique place, and Teresa is great. Some elements were not apparent to me (needing a $50 boat ride to get there); but even with some of this - we loved the adventure.

Casa Bambú next to the Sarapiquí River

We loved our stay at Casa Bambu. Our hosts Marianela and her mother Cecilia were very accommodating and helpful with recommendations. The view off the porch was spectacular, we saw many birds and heard howler monkeys almost every morning. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends and hope to come back and visit next time we're in Sarapiqui!
