Rémi and his wife are very friendly and welcoming hosts who allowed us to have a pleasant stay. Cottage arranged with taste, very clean, functional with the basic necessities. Quietly located in beautiful countryside, ideal for resting and taking beautiful walks. Cottage to recommend, see you there again.

We had a lovely stay in Gîte Vertbois. Beautiful setting, very well equipped, and comfortable. Loved seeing the ducks and hens in the garden. Marie was lovely, friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent. Very happy with everything. Thank you Marie

A peaceful haven in a beautiful green environment, quiet, with a magnificent view and the company of animals (Jack the llama, the donkeys Lulu, Stella and Bella and two cats). What more could you ask for! I thank Corinne for her warm welcome, kindness, availability and discretion during the stay. The pool is perfect for swimming or relaxing. lots of beautiful sites to visit in the area. I already want to go back! Thanks again Corinne!

Lovely overnight stay. Very welcoming, friendly hosts, Susan and Daniel. The house had everything we needed and was very clean with nice touches provided by the hosts. The house is situated at the entrance to a 5-acre property filled with beautiful trees, which, unfortunately, we didn't have time to walk through - maybe next time, as we would like to return to spend more time in the area. The air-con was most appreciated in this hot weather. Thank you, Susan and Daniel - hope to see you again soon.

The accommodation available for rent offers a magical/intimate/cocooning atmosphere just like your beautiful garden. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, the interior is fragrant, the bedding comfortable, the most comfortable cushions I have known in my entire life! This stay was pleasant, peaceful and allowed us to reconnect with nature. We enjoyed the countryside and visited the surroundings. There is a ✨ Ranch called Bel Air nearby which is amazing, a medieval town Pujols which is splendid and surely full of other wonders to discover in the surroundings. Staying at Nadine’s cottage was the biggest treat on our trip! Nadine was so kind- offering to make reservations for us and giving us wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. She was super responsive and felt like a dear friend. Her place is so beautiful! Trust me when I say - you absolutely need to book your stay here! It is a gorgeous French cottage built in the 1700’s . Nadine has it decorated so beautifully! We felt like we had stepped into a novel. The grounds are also beautiful. This was our favorite stay on our 2 week trip and I’ve stayed in so many Airbnbs over the years - this little gem was my favorite of all time!

We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

Very pleasant stay. Beautiful view of the surroundings. Note: - access via a pedestrian street on the side. It can be done without any problems, but it's not necessarily suitable for all profiles. - the absence of a stove despite the presence of a fridge, microwave etc. Beyond these few remarks, an excellent little country stone cottage. 100% recommended.

We had a great time at the apartment - it ticks all the boxes - being close to the town centre (which has lovely cafes and restaurants ) a good supermarket and bakery nearby. The train station is close, enabling you to get to places like Bordeaux and Sarlat very easily. Nicolas was a great host , and responded very quickly. Lovely apartment, with a very comfortable bed, and powerful shower set in a quiet neighbourhood.

Amazing spot right by the splendid castle of Roquetaillade! We were there for a wedding and the 2 bedrooms and is location 500m down the road made it the ideal spot for our weekend getaway! Loved the pool, the animal and Brigitte’s kind attention and recommendations! Hope to come back soon to continue to explore the region 😍

We stayed in the area for two nights while passing through, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Jean-Claude and Monica welcomed us personally with such warmth and kindness, which made us feel at home right away. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and offered everything we needed — the rooms were comfortable, well-equipped, and clearly maintained with great care. We also truly enjoyed our conversations with Jean-Claude and Monica. They were not only wonderful hosts but also such pleasant and interesting people to talk to. Their hospitality added a very personal and special touch to our stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, with excellent options for shopping and dining nearby. We also really enjoyed visiting the winery up on the hill — the wine tastings there were a real highlight. Our children were especially delighted by the friendly hens on the property — such a charming detail that made the stay even more memorable.

We stayed as two couples in this beautifully restored barn conversion. Isabelle welcomed us with drinks and nibbles in the shared kitchen (outdoor space) and very kindly took time to give lots of recommendations for dining and shopping. Although the weather had cooled a little, we still enjoyed some swims in the lovely ‘infinity’ pool. The accommodation is just as described/pictured with one bedroom and en-suite upstairs and the other bedroom, shower room and toilet on the ground floor. All clean, and freshly decorated and with everything you need as a base to explore the surrounding Bastide villages, or just to relax and enjoy views and sounds of the rolling countryside. We recommend a stay at Valeilles and Isabelle as a perfect host, we would certainly return.

The location of the small village is fantastic. Dominique and his team have designed this property so wonderfully tasteful and with many ideas. The whole property and the large beautiful pool invite you to relax. The property is a good starting point for excursions in the Perigord and on the Dordogne. Our week was just great!

The Gîte de la Gaille is a very soothing place turned towards calm and nature. We came as a group of 3. The cottage is comfortable and the private garden was appreciated by my dog. My kids played ping pong and Badmington. Agnes and Patrick are cool hosts and very welcoming. They are available to chat around animals. We came to relax and visit the area, we were served. The best thing when you love animals is the Sheep Park, goats and chickens as well as the two Shetlands. The three dogs are well educated and make a living. I'll be back for a wellness cure.
