Monthly Rentals in Pennyroyal

The Nook is a nice place if you want to get away from the madding crowd. We didn’t see a single soul (but lots of cows, sheep and geese) during our 3-day stay. We used it as a base to explore Kenneth River, Otway, 12 Apostles on the coast and as far west as The Grotto. Which on hindsight, was not such a great idea as it involved long hours of driving back and forth. Unfortunately, nearer attractions such as Heroes Vineyard were closed for winter. The cottage itself is spacious, suitable for big family gatherings. Downside was that it gets quite cold after sundown. Even with a roaring fire in the fireplace, the living room never quite warmed up, much less the rest of the big house. Fortunately, there was electric blanket provided in beds. The kitchen amenities were well stocked. And the complimentary sourdough bread, milk and coffee powder were a welcome sight. Thank you, Courtney.

We had a fantastic long weekend at Georgina’s place. It’s an easy two hour drive from Melbourne, yet felt remote enough to feel we’d got away from it all. Very peaceful setting. The house is perfect for two families of four; our kids are older, but it’s especially well set up for those with younger kids. Georgina and Charlie were great hosts, sharing lots of local knowledge and tips. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful accomodation on a stunning quiet property. It’s just what we needed - a little getaway to relax by a fireplace. Jade was lovely, we’ll definitely be back!

I had a lovely stay at Boonaview at The Victoria. The place was just as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Ruth was a wonderful host—very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. I really appreciated her clear communication and warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
