Lovely stay, stunning gardens - would have been good to know there are other holiday lets immediately next to the property the listing does give the impression it’s totally isolated but thankfully there were no guests in the other houses while we were there.

Cosy house with hot tub and stunning valley views

RichardRating, 5 stars1 day ago
A wonderful place to stay. Easy to find, stunning views, relaxing and everything you could need. The N64 was great entertainment in the evening. Watching the birds in the morning is a great way to start the day, and a soak in the hot tub a great way to end it. Niamh, Dave and Osian are wonderful hosts, really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

Rural Retreat in beautiful Ruthin

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Me and my partner really enjoyed this stay. It was a last minute booking for ourselves and Richard and Ceri were extremely attentive with their responses before and during our stay. The home itself was beautiful and was situated on a little farm. It was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Not to mention the hot tub behind the house which Richard and Ceri ensured was always at use for us! It was our first time visiting Ruthin and we enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this stay to family friends or anyone wanting a relaxing couple of nights away.

Sheep Dip Cottage - 5* Cyfie Farm, private hot tub

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a beautiful spot! I really needed a “break from it all” and this cottage had it all. Clean, warm, cosy in an absolutely stunning location. Surrounded by green fields and trees, animals, lakes and beautiful gardens. The hot tub was just Devine, especially at night when the fairy lights came on. I’ve never felt so toasty- the underfloor heating was so effective, especially as we had a cold weekend weatherwise. Welshpool is a lovely town to visit and the local waterfalls are stunning. We had a great walk around Lake Vrynwy and the Giants Hand is a must see. Lovely to see the farm animals, and the added bonus was a secure paddock for the dogs to run in. Thank you so much Theresa xxxx

Our second time at this lovely hideaway in the Shropshire countryside. Not disappointed as this is a lovely place and you feel at home straight away. We were both suffering from colds and Rebecca was very easy to communicate with when we needed more heating. Great place and we plan to be back again next year.

The Garden Terrace

JacquelineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We’ve had a peaceful and happy time at Jane’s Garden Terrace. We made excellent use of the soft lush lawn to play games and relax, enjoying the sun beds and table and chairs. The beds and such are comfortable, the kitchen has most of what is needed but hot water in the kitchen was not available. The shower over the bath has to be used laid down or crouched over so would not suit a person with mobility issues. Lovely decking area and hot tub. Jane was super friendly and most kind. We wanted a rural location for a girls catch up and this accm delivers exactly that.

We had a great 2 night stay in this lovely, little space. It’s very well equipped with everything you could need including two very, very comfy beds. The beds (and the place) were the perfect respite after a long hike. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area of Wales.

Lovely peaceful 2 bed cottage

PhillipRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was easily located having been givenn not only the address but a what3words location and a pin dropped on Google Maps. It is a very cute period cottage but well renovated especially with a lovely recent bathroom and kitchen. With 2 cute, comfy bedrooms it was perfect for us and our son. The tight, steep staircase might phase some people but for us just added to the charm. There was a sun deck at the end of the garden that was lovely to end the day with beer looking over the fields. An enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Glyndwr Barn

MarkRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We spent three lovely nights in Glyndwr Barn. The barn has been sympathetically restored and allows the history of the timber and stone building to be the star of the show. The setting is beautiful with uninterrupted cascading views of the verdent Welsh hills. It's very tranquil and a great place to sit outside and listen to the birds and take in the majesty off beautiful Wales. The barn was very clean any welcoming. Local eggs, milk, butter and Welsh cakes and treats were much appreciated. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. It's truly a rural idyll but close enough to the A5 to get you to all the breathtaking beauty and bounty of North Wales.

We had a lovely few days at Mison’s place. A really comfortable, spotless cottage with a fantastic view over the sea. The deck area is super and perfect relaxing or watching the sunset. Mison had left helpful local information, which made our stay even better by enjoying local eateries. We would all happily return to explore the area further. Thank you Mison.

Beautiful, High Quality, Riverside Cottage

NicholasRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a fabulous 5 nights at Jon & Amie’s little cottage. It was spotless and well appointed, although a tray for taking food and drink outside would be a useful addition. The location is stunning and we didn’t find the close proximity to the road and bridge any problem; the road is surprisingly busy and you must take great care when driving out of the parking space. Overall it was excellent! Thank you Jon and Amie!!

Full of local history, the cottage was cosy and beautiful, a lovely and relaxing stay, you won’t want to leave! Hannah was fantastic, gave us detailed instructions on how to find the cottage, sent over some local recommendations and checked in periodically. Lovely host and lovely place! The Dingle Retreat, Secluded country cottage.

SianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at The Dingle. We came to the area for a wedding and it ended up feeling like a mini-holiday. The cottage is generous, well appointed and comfortable with soft beds and a good shower, and immaculately clean. We enjoyed alfresco breakfasts at the table outside, which has a thoughtfully-placed fence so that it feels private. We enjoyed a pleasant footpath walk from the cottage to local shops. The furnishings are classic and modern with interesting paintings and objects to look at. I had to teach my daughter the word ‘plush’! Louise and Stuart are friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed meeting their dogs. Thank you!

Exquisite Sandstone Cottage Rural Location

Good location for overnight stay whilst walking The Sandstone Trail. Nige and Annette were really helpful in helping us to get food since we didn't want to carry lots with us. The cottage is just lovely - so tastefully restored and decorated. Very comfortable. And the garden is even better. Inspiring! Nige and I were able to share our enthusiasm for trees. Interesting and wide-ranging conversations too. Superb value

Really lovely and spacious house. We felt very much at home in this very well-equipped place. Superbly comfy large beds! We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the late afternoon sun. Very peaceful with a view of an orchard and field. The front door is on a sun trap courtyard planted with a herb garden. For the cooler evenings the wood burner stove warmed the place through. We had a great time getting away from it all!

It is in beautiful location close to the town of Welshpool. We would love to have explored the area more and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. Great hosts, great property. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for peaceful getaway.
