Monthly Rentals in Patier

I took my two grandchildren from Ireland on an adventure to Switzerland to experience skiing for the first time. Alex's apartment served as an excellent base for this purpose. We flew into Geneva and caught the train to Le Chable, changing once at Martigny. From the station in Le Chable we caught the bus up the mountain to Val de Bagnes getting off at bus stop Centre Sportif. The apartment was easy to find just 100 metres from the stop. We hired skis using the link Alex sent to obtain a discount. It was easy getting about the area as the buses are free and run very regularly so each day we walked down to the same bus stop with skis and boots, caught the bus arriving at Medran Lift within 10 mins. Same in the afternoon in reverse. Without ski equipment it was a 5 min to walk to the Coop for provisions and another five minutes further to the centre of town. The apartment was a little cramped for 3 with using the sofa bed but it served our needs well and has a picture postcard view.

The stay was very easy, the check-in totally easy, the communication flawless and the location was also great.

Mika’s studio is perfect for a short stay in Verbier. It is in a peaceful location with far-reaching views. There is a bus stop right outside with frequent and reliable buses to the Médran lift (5mins) or walking takes about 15 mins. The Migros supermarket is quite large, very well stocked, and just 2mins away. Parking was easy at the Perin car park - free for 24hrs then 5 CHF per 24hrs after that. The studio was very clean and had everything I needed, including a fully-equipped kitchen with full-size oven and fridge. Importantly, the bed was very comfortable and the shutters plus curtains meant the studio was dark at night. Mika was really helpful and answered my (many!) questions very quickly. Very nice place, secluded and quiet but close to the village by car. The studio is small but super comfortable and with all the essentials! We were able to enjoy the terrace and the beautiful view. Great organization with the host who welcomed us very warmly, that's nice!
