Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Parkdale, Old Toronto

The location of this apartment is fabulous. Easy to get from the airport and to get into the centre of Toronto. There is a big supermarket and liquor store a few minutes walk away and many restaurants, cafes and bars. High park is a short walk and the surrounding roads are very pretty. The bed in the apartment is comfortable, the shower is great. It’s quiet at night and easy to sleep.

Our stay was great! The apartment is just like in the pictures and it was perfect for us. The check-in was very easy and flexible. Even tho the apartment is below Fnu's home, we never felt like we were living under someone. It was very private and we never interfered with eachother. Fnu was very kind and open to tell us about the times where his household was active, so that we knew about noise etc. But honestly it was not a big deal at all. The apartment has everything you need and even more! Especially the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. It takes only 4 minutes by foot to the tram, which takes you in the city centre. But let us tell you: in Toronto sometimes the Uber is even cheaper than taking the Tram. Fnu as a host was great! They really respected our privacy and we once needed help with the parking permit, since we somehow couldn't manage to get one. So he went ahead and organized it for us. Also, we misread the checkout time and it was not at all a big deal. So happy!

Ana is a great host and was caring and responsive. I stayed there a couple of months and felt at home. It was really great to have a private unit all to myself and for relatively reasonable price. The location is very convenient, with public transit, grocery stores, libraries, and lots of other stores very close by. The unit is quite spacious. The kitchen is probably more suitable for light cooking or heating of food, and there’s not a ton of refrigerator space. My only discomfort during my stay was that when the weather was very cold, the heat in the room was very warm, especially at night. But it made the laundry dry quickly, which was good. All in all, I’m glad I found this place and I really enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed a great week here. It is a great location in a very nice neighbourhood. There are lots of great restaurants close by and it is a nice walk through the neighbourhood to the city centre. The whole check-in process was smooth and there was instant response to any messages sent. We booked another stay in 5 weeks, I think that says it all.

The place is cozy and feels like home. It’s conveniently located near the streetcar that goes downtown. Adam is very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay in Toronto.

Wir waren 4 Tage bei Dina.Wir(3 Personen, unsere Tochter ist 5) hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Dina hat uns am Anfang direkt auch geholfen, unser Parkticket auszudrucken. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir gebraucht haben. In der Nähe gibt es Spielplätze, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die kann man zwischen 3 -20Min Laufzeit erreichen. Das einzige was stören kann ist, dass es sehr hellhörig ist. Für uns war das kein Thema. Wir haben auch mal bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse gesessen, Spielzeug und Spielhaus war auch vorhanden. Danke Dina, für das zur Verfügung stellen, deiner schönen Unterkunft.

Great Stay! Nice spot close to downtown transit and easy street parking for when we rented a vehicle. Great price for value on a nice appartment ideal for 1-2 people.

Maya and Dado had such a lovely, cozy, and clean place for my sister and I to stay. The area was nice, secluded, and had a short walk to the subway station. The hosts were super responsive and very friendly! 100% recommend!

This place is tucked away right off of an intersection to get lots of places in Toronto; it's nestled away despite being next to so much. Great walk-ability! Heads up: many of the spots in this part of Dundas are closed Mon/Tues. The place looks just like the photos, is clean, and you can tell that it's lovingly arranged like a home but doesn't feel like you're in someone's over-personalized space. The host was friendly and helpful and the space honestly feels bigger than it did online. It would be great if you also need a workspace. The house is home to multiple people in different apartments and the walls are very thin; which isn't a problem- I'm just a person who plays music, talks a lot, stays out late, etc. and I did feel a bit like I had surrounding roommates that I didn't want to disturb. It also means that the hallway and porch lights are left off a lot so as to not disrupt the downstairs apartment and as a single traveler I try to come home to a very well-lit area.

Just what we needed for our quick trip to the Toronto area. Transit was readily available via bus. The space was comfy, cozy, and clean! Trains pass by fairly closely but we didn't find that it was too loud. There are also grocery stores and food options nearby, within walking distance in case you forgot something for your trip or need to grab a bite. Overall, great stay and very happy with choosing this listing!

As a former Toronto resident, I return frequently to spend time with mum. In Gita’s space, I think I’ve found my “spot”. The location is ideal, only surpassed by the kindness and hospitality of Gita 🙏🏾. The unit had everything I needed — comfortable bed, good water pressure, and strong WiFi! Until next time…

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Andrew’s place. The location was very cozy with lots to do around, in a really great part of the city to stay in for a visit. The coffee shops and restaurants around were well worth it. A few things to note is that the apartment doesn’t have much natural light but we were out and about during the day so we didn’t mind too much. The other thing is you can hear the kids in the unit above very clearly every morning, if you are a light sleeper it might be a minor problem but we found it funny. Andrew was an excellent and accommodating host and we really appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility!

Clean, safe, and close to all amenities. We were really impressed with the space and the ease of getting downtown using transit. We enjoyed our stay, but note that the accommodations are above a restaurant with live music during the day and at night on weekends. It’s quite loud and could be disruptive if you’re a light sleeper.

Mehrdads condo was perfect for us. The view from the balcony, the proximity for bars and restaurants the CN tower and aquarium. Ten minute walk to union street train station. The condo was comfortable and well furnished and we felt very settled as soon as we moved in. Communication and entry on arrival was hassle free. Would totally recommend !

The condo is in the perfect location. Everything is close by within walking distance. No need for a car. The view is looking out past CN Tower the stadium and the city with water views. Nick the host was very responsive and helpful. The bed was comfortable and all the amenities were as described. We enjoyed our stay and will return if we are in Toronto.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und wir konnten zu Fuß die Gegend erkunden und zum Beispiel den See oder den CN Tower in 15-20 Minuten erreichen. Wir haben sogar die Sonne am Abend in dem kleinen privaten Garten genossen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!
