There is a small livingroom- kitchen and a separate bedroom. The windows are to the back side, thus no noise. The appartment is in the centre of the small town Parainen, or Pargas as it is called in Swedish. Parainen in Finnish. The place is in the beginning of the large archipelago, abt 23 km fro center of Turku. Good bus connection . Bus stop abt 100 m. Free parking. Going further to the Archipelago you take large ferries for cars and bicycles FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL PEOPLE.

Please have your own sheets with you, or you can rent from us for 5€/person. There is no running water in this house, but you can use the well with a pump next to the house. The cottage is 100 meters from the car park.

We spent a whole week in Meris little cabin at the baltic sea and we are very grateful about every single of those days. The cabin is very remote and basic (without electricity and running water). The view from both its terrace or the bed through the Woods on the baltic sea is lovely and you can easily spend a couple of days reading there while listening to the cracks of the chimney. Both Meri and her husband are very proactive and showed us around or borrowed us their kajacs.. We can recommend that place to everyone who feels attached to nature and who needs a little break from the rush of the city. Thanks for your hospitality! Serena & Chris

Très agréable séjour dans cette cabane au bord de l'eau. Pêche, promenade en bateau, sauna puis plongeon dans la mer. Simplicité, proche de la nature c'est ce que nous recherchions. Saku a toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos questions.

Absolut ruhig gelegenes, großzügiges Häuschen im Grünen mit allem ausgestattet, aber sehr kleinem Bad. Die Gastgeber wohnen ein paar Meter entfernt. Martin ist supernett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden sofort wieder dort übernachten.

Sanna is great host and everything from booking the place to checking out went smooth as a butter! Sanna was proactive and helpful in clarifying open questions before and during our stay! Our stay in Houtskär was an absolutely magical experience. The cottages is perfectly equipped, modern, and cozy, with breathtaking views of the sea. We truly appreciated the complete tranquility and privacy the location offers. This place is ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and recharging in nature. We would love to return here.
