This is an entire apartment with views to the Ocean. It is cosy and quiet and only 5 minutes from Oamaru but set in a beautiful rural environment. A new kitchen, a cosy loungeroom and private courtyard with barbeque and separate entrance. Tea, coffee, milk and basic supplies in the pantry, homemade bread and a sample of our own honey . Chloe was a great host. The accommodation was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and Chloe even had the heat pump on to warm the place up before we arrived on a very cold weekend. :) Lovely peaceful location on the edge of the town but only moments away from the main street, where the supermarket, pubs and bakeries will sort out your hospitality requirements. Plenty of space in the lounge to stretch out. Shower had plenty of pressure which was welcomed.

A cozy nook features two cushioned armchairs placed near a large window, providing views of the tranquil Kakanui Coastline. Natural light floods the space, highlighting the soft colors of the chairs and the inviting throw blanket draped over one. The serene landscape outside includes coastal plants and the ocean.

One of the nicest places my husband and I have ever stayed in. Very comfortable in such a lovely setting. Our host was available if necessary and provided some essentials when we first arrived which was really appreciated. Very comfortable beds and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. We felt rested and relaxed at Sunset Cottage. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this beautiful place......Thanks Andrea and Bruce

The house was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, the beds were super cozy, and we really appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet still close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was quick and friendly throughout. We absolutely loved our stay here. Sandra is an incredible host and had thought of everything to make our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast goodies left for us were amazing especially the free range eggs. The bed was amazing and the extra pillows provided was next level. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Waimate

Tanya’s place was much bigger than expected. Kitchen comes well equipped and place is very clean and comfortable. Huge driveway which allow many cars to be parked. The only downside is that if more than 1 shower is used concurrently, the hot water will be intermittent. Will recommend
