Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Panajachel

This Airbnb is what Airbnb was supposed to be 10 years ago. It’s not just another property from a manager that you never see. Jean was very warm welcoming and welcomed us herself on our arrival. She was very proactive by giving us some tips from what to do, where to go or eat. She answered really quickly and helped us organized some massage sessions. The property is as described. The heated pool, the private beach and dock. Be aware that there are a lot of steps in the property and that arriving there from San Marcos may be a little difficult because of the road. But in my opinion those aren’t a problem after you see how beautiful it is there. I hope I can return one day

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

The best airbnb I have ever stayed at! The location is amazing, the views, the tranquility, the song of birds, the rain the storms and the sun. This is paradise and just like it says, “casa cielo”, sky house. Mikael is great host and very responsive, and Miguel the house manager, os also very attentive and great. Once you are up there, you won’t want to ever leave, so pack groceries or just relax and have Verónica the local chef, come and cook delicious food for you. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could think of, the barbecue and the fire pit are perfect for sunsets. We loved it so much, we got engaged here. Will definitely be coming again :)

La Casita del Lago was the perfect location for a gun and relaxing family trip. Lots of room for everyone, outdoor and indoor areas were comfortable and well designed. We used the grill and fire pit, hammocks and paddle boards. The best part was the support by the staff at the house, Rudy, Rosa and Maria were fantastic and they made our stay memorable. we will definitely come back!

la maison est très agréable et dispose d un très joli jardin et d une superbe vue sur le lac. l accès a Santa Cruz se fait très bien a pied et en tuktuk. Lucas et son épouse sont très attentionnés et serviables.

This was a nice apartment in a local part of San Pedro, close to a couple of Spanish schools. It was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the beds were very comfortable with clean fresh linens. The best part was the above board service from our hosts. We were provided with eggs and bread when we arrived and they responded immediately to any requests. Highly recommend and should we return to San Pedro we would stay here again! Thanks Rosa for all your help.

We had a lovely time in Panajachel. The space was perfect for our family- tidy, spacious with a good kitchen and comfy beds. Close to the Main Street and restaurants and easy to walk everywhere.

El alojamiento es tal cual se describe, incluso mucho mejor. El anfitrión estuvo pendiente en todo momento lo que se necesitara y que tuviéramos la mejor experiencia, sin lugar a dudas súper recomendado.

The best view I’ve ever had at an Airbnb! The balcony was a dream, and the grounds that the apartment is based on are gorgeous. Deedle and Claudia were super responsive and helpful, and Diego was a superstar! We loved our time here.

The place has an amazing view—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly without any delays. The host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be coming back again! -— El lugar tiene una vista espectacular, ideal para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. Las instrucciones para llegar y hacer el check-in fueron muy claras, todo sin ningún tipo de retraso. La anfitriona fue muy atenta y respondió rápidamente a cualquier duda. The only regret we had with my family was not staying there for longer. Omar and his helper were amazing at helping us get anything we needed. The apartment was so beautiful, the view was amazing as well. It is a great place to relax and have fun at the same time. The only thing that we had a problem with and it is NOT the host’s fault was that we didn’t have power until like 7pm and I believe the whole town didn’t have power either. But it was a great time overall. we only stayed one night and we already think that one WEEK won’t be enough to be there either!!! They helped us find a reasonable boat ride that even included a tour at San Juan La Laguna that was so fun! I cannot wait to go back to this place.

Jenny and Clemens’s place is truly magical and an ideal spot for first-timers visiting Lake Atitlán. We instantly fell in love with the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere during our two-day stay. From the start, Jenny and Clemens were incredibly welcoming and responsive. They helped us arrange roundtrip shuttle service from Antigua and even organized a private lancha to reach their home, making everything so easy. Thanks to their great location, we could walk to nearby spots like Casa del Mundo, Isla Verde, and even take a cooking class in Santa Cruz. Getting around by public lanchas were also simple. Just flag one down at the dock, and the drivers know exactly where to drop you off on your return.

Larissa’s place was beautiful! It was wonderful to wake up to such a wonderful view and sip coffee on the patio, watching the lake wake up. Larissa also had a wonderful guidebook with great recommendations! We felt very prepared going into the trip due to this guidebook. Highly recommend!!

El alojamiento es exactamente como se describe. La ubicación en San Pedro La Laguna es perfecta, cerca de muchos restaurantes, bares, y el muelle también, por lo cual puedes acceder fácilmente las otras partes del lago. Y como todos han dicho, la vista del lago y las montañas desde el patio is increíble. Y el patio se ha amueblado bien, y es perfecto para pasar tiempo con amigos. Recomiendo este lugar 100%

Great place to stay in Panahachel. We were able to take tuk tuks to town daily . It was not very far from anywhere. Our host responded very quickly to all questions and concerns. Our power went out on the third night We were there. She was able to send somebody to give us a back up power generator for charging phones and lamps, but the power did turn on pretty quickly After that. We didn’t have to use it, but her response was great and very quick.

Excelente lugar, quedamos encantados con todo, el lugar impecable y muy buena la vista. El lugar es muy tranquilo y bonito, ideal para convivir con la familia.

El lugar tiene una ubicación genial! A 2 minutos de la calle Santander (la calle principal de Pana), pero lo suficientemente lejos para el ruido de la calle no sea molesto. La suite tiene todo lo que necesitas y todo funciona a la perfección, lo único que hay que considerar es que si el hotel esta lleno, el area social y lugares de desayuno (que estan a la par de la suite) si producen bastante ruido a la habitación, si tenes sueño profundo esto no será problema. Por lo demas es un lugar que recomiendo para tener una muy buena estadía en Panajachel. Tanto para familia, amigos o parejas.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a more relaxed stay. The view of San Pedro from the balcony was absolutely beautiful! I ended up spending more time at the unit in the hammock for that reason. There is no A/C (as most accommodations in the area) but you can leave the windows open to cool down at night (I didn’t have any insect problems during my stay). The unit is situated between San Pedro and San Juan so you’ll have easy access to both areas via tuktuk. San Pedro is a loud nightlife area so bring ear plugs (also what other guests have mentioned in their reviews so I was aware when I had booked this). I’m not sure if there are any other spots that you could get the same view without the noise. The unit is outside of the main busy areas so there aren’t any restaurants nearby but it’s really easy to grab a tuktuk right out front for very little (10-15 GTQ). Clemente was also very kind and very responsive. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying here.

Alejandro's place was great! We loved the 360 view and the outdoor shower. It was great seeing the sunrise from the balcony every morning! Host is very responsive and helpful as well. Something to note - the neighborhood has a lot of roosters crowing all night, and because the metal roof is not completely closed, it might be hard for some people to get a good night's sleep. By no means is this the place's fault though, but just to be aware if you're a light sleeper! Everything else was awesome, very clean and good amenities! Drinking water in the kitchen, warm showers, good working faucet, a desk to work at, a bench on the balcony! Power outlets were also abundant and there's a good working ceiling fan:) Thanks, Alejandro!

Es un lugar emocionante tuve la oportunidad de presenciar frente a mi la lluvia sobre los volcanes y el lago, es una experiencia a la altura de cualquier atracción en el mundo. Lo recomiendo al 100%

Excelente servicio, higiene, instrucciones claras, servicios de excelente calidad, un poco alejando de la zona viva pero se podía llegar en tuktuk sin problema alguna, muy amigable don Cirilo.

El apartamento es hermoso y muy limpio, la vista es increible, todo un paisaje! Sin duda, cuando regresemos nos quedaremos aqui de nuevo. Cariva es super host, muy amable y comunicativa. Todas las instalaciones estan exelentes y todo el personal muy amable. Una experiencia muy bonita. Gracias Cariva por compartir con nosotros tu apartamento. 10/10 🙂 muy recomendado.
