Vacation rentals with a patio in Palaiochora

We stayed at Ben’s house for one week during our holiday, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped, and has everything you might need. Its location and the sea view are major highlights. Ben was a fantastic host — he gave us a warm welcome and shared excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. He was also very kind and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

This spot was amazing and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helped provide many recommendations for food and activities, and was super friendly. AirBNB came with a lot of amenities and was very comfortable, thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Nous avons absolument adorées notre séjour au Penthouse. Nous sommes un groupe de 3 couples avec deux bébés. La disposition du logement était parfaite. Nous avions chacun une chambre avec salle de bain et balcon ce qui nous permettait de tous avoir un peu d’intimité. Le logement est très bien insonorisé également. L’hôte avait laissé avant notre arrivé deux lits de bébés avec plusieurs couvertes chaudes et propres à l’intérieur, ainsi que deux chaises hautes bien équipées. Il y avait même quelques jouets pour bébé. Que dire de la propreté des lieux. C’était tout simplement parfait. Après quelques jours, nous avons même eu droit à un ménage complet et en profondeur des lieux. Finalement, le localisation est plus que parfaite. Vous êtes situés au abord de la vieille ville. Vous sortez du Penthouse et à quelques pas seulement vous y trouverez d’excellent restaurants, cafés et boutiques. Le port en soit est à seulement quelques minutes de marches. WoW je recommande vivement!

Just got from a week at Niko’s place in Old Town, Chania. The place was spotless and exactly as the photos. Niko met us, even though our flight was delayed, and we didn’t arrive until gone midnight. There was water, fruit and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The apartment is nicely located in the heart of Old Town, with the harbour, shops and restaurants only being 5-10 minutes’ walk away. There was plenty of room for two and we really enjoyed the rooftop terrace which was furnished with a table and chairs as well as a couple of sun loungers and a parasol. You have a great view down to the harbour. Great communication from Niko as well. Would highly recommend.

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

What a fantastic apartment in a great location! We truly had a great stay here, the apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you need. The stairs to the roof terrace are located outside of the apartment but as the apartment is on the top floor, you do not see anyone. The host is brilliant, very accommodating and incredibly responsive.

From initial arrival, with croissants and other goods waiting, to my departure, I felt right at home. Location allowed for an easy walk to the city centre, with the beach, groceries and restaurants close at hand. Great location for exploring the western end of Crete, with parking available. Quiet and convenient, and generous hosts.

Lovely place in Chania. The view of the lighthouse from the dining table never gets old no matter what time of day. The completely open-concept space is a little bit too open at times. My friends and I found it somewhat difficult to get privacy for changing/dressing etc. The bathroom was also not in a super convenient location and would occasionally not get hot water at all. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings, it is in a very central/busy location with shops and restaurants abound. Be warned: the store directly below does not shut off their music until 23:00 and is very audible through the floor. Maria was also a great host and responded quickly to any ask! Kitchen, beds and other amenities were just right, would recommend!

Such a beautiful spacious home! ❤️ Exactly as described, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are responsive and always happy to answer any questions we had. Alexia also visited and bought some delicious pastries and eggs which we really appreciated. We were also welcomed with a basket of local snacks which was perfect after a long day of travelling🥰 Not as easy to walk into the old town as I thought as the streets nearby don’t have pavements (my fault for not checking beforehand) however it is only a 10 minute drive to the port. So many beautiful beaches to explore (our favourite was Balos, especially if you like animals as there are lots of wild goats🐐) Also lots of delicious restaurants everywhere, our favourites were Almyriki on Stavros beach and Patrelantonis on Marathi Beach 🌊 We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday and would love to visit the Violin House again in future Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Location was amazing. Quite and private. Everything was amazing there was nothing to complain about probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Marianna is absolutely amazing. The sweetest and most caring host ever. She gave us so many recommendations and was beyond helpful. I would recommend mend this place to everyone!!

This place was even better than the pictures! There are beautiful lemon and orange tree orchards all around leading to the property. The space is clean, private, and very peaceful. I highly recommend it. You will need a rental car if you are staying here since it is a ways off the beaten path. I would consider the rental car a great compromise for such a beautiful Airbnb. There is a private spot to park so no need to pay for parking.

This house is absolutely stunning! It is even more impressive in person than in the photos. The view took our breath away every morning ! The house is about 10 minutes from Kissamos which is the small town where we bought food to cook at home. I do advise renting a car to get to the surrounding towns and beaches. The host, Ria, was incredibly communicative prior to our arrival and just as accommodating once we got there. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until almost midnight. She was so kind to provide us with food and coffee for breakfast as well as some olive oil made from her family’s business. Ria was so welcoming and helpful! We felt very safe and at peace in the house (we visited with our 3 children who are 7, 10, and 11). This was by far our favorite vacation and we look forward to returning! We highly recommend! 🙌🏻

We had a wonderful stay in a great location with the friendliest hosts. The house was large with all the amentities you could ever need or want. The patio was spectacular with a beautiful view and also very spacious. You do need a car for this area, but everything was pretty central to where we needed to go. Parking was available on the street next to the house. The hosts also left us treats which was a very nice touch :)

We absolutely loved our stay, it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was as described, really clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size with 2 decent sized en-suite bathrooms and the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed BBQing on the terrace and eating outside. The private pool was much bigger than we expected and the kids loved jumping into it at the end of the day whilst we had cocktails, available from reception! The apartment is in an agricultural area surrounded by olives trees and poly tunnels growing tomatoes. This meant it was lovely and peaceful. The sunsets were amazing and view uninterrupted. Phalasarna beach was a short drive and out of season it was relaxing and a really great place to be. The shallow water meant it was really safe for the kids to enjoy jumping in the waves on windy days and swimming and exploring little caves on the calm days. Alexandros was a fantastic host, helpful and quick to respond any questions we had. We hope to come back one day!

Heerlijk verblijf in een serene omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht richting zee, fijn zwembad en grote, smaakvol ingerichte kamers. Wij konden hier echt tot rust komen. Je hebt wel meestal een auto nodig om restaurantjes of nabijgelegen dorpjes te bezoeken. Voor ons geen probleem, wij genoten juist van de rust.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Konstantinos und Stelina, die eine wunderschöne Wohnung für ihre Gäste zur Verfügung stellen. Wir waren begeistert von der Aufteilung der Räume, sehr modern mit bodentiefen Fenstern, einer Küche, in der nichts fehlte (selbst eine Salatschleuder und ein Messbecher waren da!) und mit einem komfortablen Bett. Die Handtücher werden jeden 3. Tag gewechselt und die Bettwäsche jeden 5. Tag, echter Luxus! Es duftet sehr angenehm, Dank der gut ausgesuchten Duftstäbchen. Für mich ist eine gut riechende Wohnung immer sehr wichtig und das haben wir ebenso sehr geschätzt. Der Balkon ist luftig und nach 10:00 im Schatten, da lässt es sich angenehm aushalten und der schöne Blick auf die Souda Bay ist einfach herrlich. Zur Innenstadt sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, man ist also schnell im Zentrum, aber abends auch schnell wieder draußen. Ideal für Menschen, die das Stadtleben genießen wollen, es aber lieber etwas ruhiger haben möchten. Danke nochmals für alles!!

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Anastasia & John. L'appartement, spacieux et joliment décoré, est bien situé pour se balader dans la région de Chania. L'emplacement est central, on peut facilement se rendre à pied sur le front de mer, tout en étant au calme. Nous avons spécialement apprécié la grande terrasse verdoyante et la literie très confortable. Enfin, le contact avec Anastasia et John a été très facile, ils nous ont gentiment accueillis malgré notre heure d'arrivée tardive, et avec un petit plateau d'accueil et des conseils de restos. Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Da wir unsere zweijährige Tochter dabei hatten waren die vielen Restaurants direkt nebendran ein Segen für uns da das Babyphone bis in 3 Restauranta gereicht hat. Wir waren in der Nebensaison dort deswegen war es abends ab 10 Uhr ruhig. man muss wissen das die Promenade direkt an der Terrasse vorbeiläuft und die Menschen direkten Blick auf die Terrasse haben. uns hat das jedoch nicht gestört. wir hatten genau sowas gesucht und waren sehr zufrieden.

Stella was an outstanding host. Her accommodation is beautiful. Everything was perfectly prepared. A delicious cake was waiting for us on the table. There were also various foods from Stella's parents' garden in the fridge. Stella is very communicative and gives great tips about the area. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Gabriella war eine tolle Gastgeberin, und immer sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und kommunikativ. Die Unterkunft hatte alles, was wir für einen tollen Urlaub benötigen... Küche incl. allem, Bad mit Dusche, eine große Terrasse mit Grill und Liegen, und einen Jacuzzi zum entspannen. :) Zudem haben wir einiges in der Region erkundschaftet und waren von vielem sehr angetan. Wir werden wieder kommen! :)

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!
