House vacation rentals in Overstrand Local Municipality

We were 2 families and there was place for everyone. The house has everything you require including games and a table tennis board to keep the kids entertained. The coffee and rusks was appreciated. Will definitely recommend Claudette's place for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Rooi Els. Heide hat uns herzlichst empfangen und uns verschiedene Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten empfohlen. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft und die Ausstattung hervorragend. Wir haben uns direkt zuhause gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war super einfach, schnell und freundlich. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt von Herzen empfehlen! Vielen Dank

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. We had the most amazing stay at The Bungalow. It had a real home away from home feel! A beautiful, well-equipped house that was difficult to leave. We will definitely be back!

We had a really great time at Schalk's home under the amazing Milkwood trees. The outside area is even bigger than it looks in the pictures and it has a very nice braai area, pizza oven and fire pit to enjoy. The house makes you feel like you're away in the bush but you also have the ocean a 100 meters away. There is a balcony upstairs where we had our breakfasts daily which looks onto the ocean through the trees. Lovely to hear the ocean in the evening whilst sleeping. We would definitely recommend it.

Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

Elke's farmhouse was the perfect place for our family reunion. We needed somewhere where we could all just hang out and catch up and this was the perfect spot with exquisite views. The house is spacious, with very tasteful and quirky decor which we loved. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Elke gave very clear access instructions and we were warmly greeted by the farm manager. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, Elke!

Great stay in stanford, just close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and have access to all the walks. Very pet friendly. Had everything we needed

We had a wonderful weekend at Goodluck Homestead celebrating my mother's 70th birthday. From babies to young kids to parents to grandparents, all needs were catered for. Spacious common areas, with plenty of nooks to sit and relax. A playroom for the kids, a dam to paddle and swim in, a hot tub, fire pit, games, books, farm animals, gorgeous gardens and fresh produce on arrival. It was divine. We'll be back.

This place was stunning! And felt like a second home, loved all the various places to chill/braai/relax. Would love to book for a family holiday again!

We had an amazing long weekend at Hangklip Villa. Our host, Eric, was informative, helpful and kind. The Villa was spacious and beautiful. Our views and sunsets were spectacular and the outings & walks on the beach enjoyable. We had 3 under 4 year-olds with us and they loved every moment on the beach. Thanks again to Eric!💙🩵

Our second time here at this wonderful house on the edge of the lagoon was truly spectacular! The house has absolutely everything you could need including table tennis, tennis racquets, bicycles and board games. The proximity to the water is very special with our boat moored at the beach right in front of the house. Thank you so much Marlize!

Had a lovely stay in Onrus, walking distance to a stunning beach and to the local restaurant. The house itself is stunning, well looked after and was absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Gail is such a lovely hostess, she did so much extra effort for us, and the house is so well equipped with everything you will need. And the house was very clean. Thank you so much, we enjoyed our stay so much.

We loved the setup of the house. Open planned and made for quality family time. We appreciated the board games. Our almost 2-year old loved playing in the garden, picking flowers. The walk to the beach was perfect for us - a block or two, but not too long. It was a cooler weekend, and there were more than enough blankets as well as a gas heater. The house had everything we needed. Enclosed parking and a fire place would really take the home to the next level.

My family has a great time at Cara’s. The house is spacious and comfortable. Our two dogs were safe and couldn’t escape the property while enjoying downtime during the day. Close the beach and central Hermanus (a good launchpad).
