Beachfront vacation rentals in Overberg District Municipality

The perfect spot for a getaway with a big group of friends. The house had everything we needed and the location is great. Would definitely recommend. Just take note: Bedroom 5 and 6 are not separate rooms as indicated above but both the bunk beds and the sleeper couch are in one open-plan space.

We had a wonderful stay at Thalassa! Beautiful beach cabin with everything we needed. Awesome location and so peaceful. Sally was a great host and pro-active in all the communication.

Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

Tim is a very hospitable host, he met us at check in day, helped with luggage. There were fresh flowers at home, clean beds and towels, nice welcome drink. Tim advised several interesting spots. The house has a great view from bedroom and living area. Was a pleasure to wake up and see the ocean. Every day we walked to the beach (5 minutes literally). There are some coffee shops and restaurants. Very good locations of shops. Very safe area! A lot of people running and swimming. Beautiful nature, surrounded with mountains. It has gas and every time we could cook and make tea. Very good variety of things for cooking inside the house. Tim has a nice secret garden :) Tim is a very friendly and sporty person, he told us about sport opportunities around. Tim was easy to communicate every time we wrote him with questions, He also advised us a nice clean lady and looked about the garden himself. One of the best hospitable stayings.

The views are AMAZING! Matt is an extremely organised and generous host. Loved our weekend there.

This house is absolutely beautiful and got an amazing view onto Bettys Bay & the penguin-walk. We loved waking up early to watch the sunrise and seeing the penguins being busy! We definitly recommend staying here :-)

Kim and Petri are great hosts and we had a wonderful stay at their place. It is spacious, stylish, safe and two minutes from the beach. A perfect place to spend a few days in and explore the surroundings. Thanks again for everything and we will be back.

This was our third time staying at The Salt Box and we had another great stay! The property is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The location is convenient with the beachfront a short walk or drive away. We love the peaceful atmosphere with sliding doors opening the lounge to the private garden / pool area. Dining in is a breeze with everything we needed provided for. The furniture and beds are comfortable and views from upstairs never get old. Ame and Spencer are amazing hosts and are always super responsive and friendly. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras they provide. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

The house has a perfect concept, is fully equipped and is beautifully located just in front of the open sea. The information before arriving is very complete and the response to questions immediate. Would love to come back for longer and can definitely recommend it! Frederic

We unfortunately only had one night at Elzanne’s property and wished we could have stayed much longer! Beautiful surroundings, the view is breathtaking and the interior of the property is stunning with everything you need thoughtfully catered for. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Parents loved their stay! Definitely go to for future visits

Sandra was very friendly, professional and helpful and was very accommodating with our check in when our plans changed last minute. The unit was exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was new & well decorated. Everything we needed was in the unit, right down to having adapter plugs for charging in the bedrooms. The view of the ocean from the balcony was stunning! We really felt like we were home away from home. We would definitely recommend this unit and Sandra as a host! Thanks for sharing your unit with us Sandra, we had a great stay! :-)

This place was absolutely beautiful. We were blown away and hope to return again for a longer stay.

The apartment has a stunning view of the ocean. It was great to be able to hear the waves crashing over the rocks. Apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. There was an issue with the shower head which was resolved very quickly. There is lots to do in the area and some great restaurants.

A great stay - we loved it and Linda was very helpful throughout.

Storkerden is an absolutely fantastic beach house with so much to offer. Our family had such an awesome restful time here. Every room has a beach view. It was bliss. I can highly recommend it!

Priceless sea views and a short walk to the beach or harbour. Beautifully styled house too. The pool table in the kids room was the cherry on top. Would happily return.

We had such a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home, it was perfect! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The main area is modern with plenty space and the rooms are clean and have stunning views. We really enjoyed our time here and our host was absolutely fantastic! We had the most incredible stay at Zebra Views! The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean and so comfortable for our group of four adults and two little ones. Our 4 and 1 yr old had the time of their lives, running freely between the front and backyard. On our second day, we were surprised by a turtle wandering into the garden, and later, two zebras casually strolled by just outside. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The sunsets alone are worth the trip, golden skies like we’ve never seen before. The home had everything we could possibly need, and the thoughtful welcome gift of fresh bread and a bottle of wine was such a warm touch. We truly hope to return soon, it was nothing short of magical!
