On the 2nd floor are the 4 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with shower and tub. On the 3rd floor, there is a large kitchen with adjoining living area and covered balcony. Our apartment is on the edge of a small village in the Weser Uplands on the Ottenstein plateau. From our place you have a good view of the valley towards Hameln-Pyrmont. We are located directly on the fairy tale street, where you can discover many legends, wonders and stories. In summer you can use the village's own solar-heated outdoor pool at all temperatures, whether to cool down or to wake up ;D The beautiful nature, in forest and field, invites you to large and small hikes.

My place is right in the center of the historic old town of Höxter. Restaurants and pubs as well as all shopping are within walking distance. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.

Hiking trails start directly behind the BLH and a restaurant with a beer garden is 800m behind the BLH.
