Charming recently renovated 3-floor stone house with 2 terraces and garden in Ottano, little medieval village in the vibrant hills of Liguria. Ottano is located 29km from Imperia and Mediterranean beaches and 5km from charming town Pieve di Teco. The house has stunning south-west facing 180 degrees view to the valley below which makes it perfect setting for relaxed holidays. The region has also vast trekking path network. The decoration is as we love it: the mixture of vintage and modern.
“We had a very nice and relaxed stay in Ottano. The house is very much like the photos. We were welcomed to the house by Anna. She is living nearby Ottano and could therefore give us some helpful tips. There was a very useful information folder in the house as well with good suggestions on activities and restaurants nearby. However, keep in mind that the opening times of the restaurants are not always what you expect, so check beforehand. The house itself was very nice, like we expected, only the beds were not really comfortable. We used some herbs from the garden for cooking and the figs from the fig tree in the garden were also delicious.”

“Siglioli is a wonderful, peaceful and quiet place in the breathtaking mountains near the Ligurian coast. The house of Davide and the whole property is beautiful, - pure nature-a super pleasant climate, because of the many greens, the forests and the clouds that keep entangling the mountain tops ...... The charismatic, beautiful stone house is ultimately super equipped, it's really all there, it was even ensured that we had everything on arrival (coffee, milk, pasta, tomatoes, figs, water, ice cubes, just everything, even flowers ) to go shopping the next day after the 15 hour drive. . The house is very lovingly decorated, it has a great large stay-kitchen room with really large table, which is always great for a family with children! An outdoor terrace and a garden terrace and many wonderful places in the olive grove, where you can build wonderful with the children, tents, hammocks and other expand the quality of the house again a large piece of space .... We were even allowed the exterior workshop with tools Use the family to make something out of wood ... A warm welcome, even more unexpected translated into German, by the cousin Pietro, who could provide us with all the necessary information was a nice arrival ... Towels, blankets, crockery and appliances, plaster in every detail made for a carefree stay in Davide's dwelling for his guests. The beds are very comfortable, there is gas for cooking, the rooms are decorated with wonderful antique furniture, with TVs, etc, everything was wonderfully cleaned for the guests, it is very clean and well maintained. and all with heart! The olive grove and the many places where you can stay in the area is wonderful-a must for anyone who prefers the whole day to the fresh air ... The sea takes about 30 minutes, which due to its wonderful, fascinating landscape is not a long time in the car, and there are many small villages to baffle, there are torrents where you can walk, experience a lot of Italian culture, etc a holiday dream that you can only recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet yet adventurous, relaxing break for themselves, with or without a family with children .... Escape to the woods in this rural isolated tiny stone 'Rustico' cottage. Sitting atop the dense green Ligurian valleys, on the uppermost edge of a tiny Medieval village. 1/2hr from the coast, this cottage contains modern & traditional comforts. Easy access to the stunning Italian Riviera, as well as exploring local sights and gourmet experiences nearby.
“This forest cottage is just wonderful. If you love the forest and love having peace and just escape from the busy world, this is the right place to be in! It is situated on top of a small, old Italian village, which is almost totally abandoned. The views from the cottage are stunning, the forest looks so different every day. Since the place is very remote, it would be good to have some kind of vehicle to get there. Also for shopping etc it is probably good to have a car. The cottage in itself is simple, jet beautiful, you have a very nice wooden oven, which we used every day for cooking and also for heating, since the evenings in October were a bit cold. The oven gives a very very cozy heat, just wonderful for the cottage feeling ;) We enjoyed our stay in Trastanello very very much and for us it was just perfect.”
