Great stay, if you are looking for quite down time. There is a good dining option available within 10 minutes walk. The best things are about this property is a private beach and amazing management team.

Está muy cerca del centro, los anfitriones amables, el lugar bastante limpio y cómodo. Solo salía muy poca agua de la regadera; pero de ahí en más todo muy bien, tal cual como en su publicación.

R&R has nice comfy rooms with ensuites just a few minutes out of the centre of Chetumal. With a central kitchen, it allows you to eat in if you want. Martin greeted me with a fresh mango and was really helpful on where to go around town and the surrounding areas. Definitely recommended!

Martin ist ein sehr hilfbereiter, zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht- die Unterkunft hat alles, was man für kurze oder auch längere Aufenthalte braucht mit Gemeinschaftsküche und Wohnzimmer mit Fernseher, Waschmaschine Garten und Fahrräder zu leihen. Die Zimmer sind im mexikanischen Stil farbenfroh gestaltet, mit sehr schönen landestypischen Fliessen ( Azulejos ) im Badezimmer- wir haben uns sehr gut empfangen und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Universität und der Campus ist direkt gegenüber- man ist schnell an die Bahia von Chetumal gelaufen und auch Calderitas mit Strand- und Beachcafes ist nicht weit. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man alleine reist, da man immer Leute im Haus kennenlernen wird.

J'ai adoré mon séjour ! Les hôtes étaient très gentils, amicaux et toujours à l'écoute. Le logement était très propre. Je recommande vraiment cet hébergement en face de l'université et très bien desservi par les taxis de Chetumal.

We have been traveling Mexico for 3 1/2 weeks and the 3 nights at Taj Mahahual was definitely the highlight! From beginning to the end, everything was absolutely perfect and I can’t imagine a single thing that could have been better. Communication before arrival with Cindy was super smooth, she provided so much helpful information. When arriving the caretakers welcomed us extremely nicely, they took care of us all the time and where there if we needed something. The house itself is just amazing. While being in a remote location with a lonely beach it still offers all the amenities you need and the best is that you can see and feel the love to the details the owners put into this house. We felt like being home all the time. To summarize I can highly this place and would like to thank Cindy, Gabe and the caretakers for these wonderful days. Hope to be back one time.

Schönes Haus mit Familienanschluß. Alle sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch mit wenig spanisch Kenntnissen kein Problem. Super Pancakes, danke! Fahrrad wurde auch geliehen. Ist halt nur nicht viel zu tun in Calceritas aber gute Seefoodlokale.

Me pareció un lugar muy agradable, seguro e ideal para tener una estancia adecuada ya sea para descansar, vacacionar o para algun asunto de trabajo. muy recomendado.

Excellent. Easy to get to from ADO and walk to town. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Rachel is lovely and goes out of her way to help every guest. Will return!

Die Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel ist wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Raquel war eine ausgezeichnete Gastgeberin! Aufgrund einer Panne hatte sich unsere Ankunftszeit auf 1 Uhr nachts verschoben - Raquel hat uns trotzdem den Check-In ermöglicht. Das Frühstück war einfach aber sehr gut. Vielen Dank gerne wieder!

The hammocks were very comfortable. It was a new experience to sleep there but very very nice. Recommended!

Muy tranquila la estancia. Con muchas vegetación agradable. . Tranquilo y silencioso al dormir. Alguna vez algún vecino con música alta a deshoras. Nunca sacaron la basura en 7 días de la semana. Cuando se acababa el papel sanitario tenías que solicitarlo. Pero a veces no lo llevaban a la habitación. Ubicación muy cerca de la plaza, del mercado. El traslado entre yaxche centro y laguna es muy práctico. La cocina es compartida. En la bolsa de lo que puse todavía como mis cosas me faltaron dos mangos. Solo que dijeron que haces así era.

El desayuno incluido es un plus! La señora Lupita nos dios sus recomendaciones e instrucciones para que hacer en Mahahual y también como movernos.
