The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

We spent a close family reunion weekend with just over ten attendees in Villa Marianranta, where we had a great festive dinner and cozy and relaxed days. There was enough space and common space for everyone, it was easy to cook together in the big kitchen. Special mention of beautiful dishes that were enough. The place was just as we hoped and the welcome was warm. We'd go again anytime!

I really enjoyed this modern apartment with balcony and sauna. All amenities worked great, and the location is very close and easy to the train station. There are several grocery stores nearby, and a nice view from the balcony. The smaller bedroom with work station was very nice for computer work! The building is easy to find, and it's easy to get in and out of the apartment. The building was also quiet, and the beds comfortable. I would stay here again!

She gave comprehensive instructions for check in and we were delighted to have such a great location close to a big park for walks around the sea and also close to town. Ken was a very nice host who responded rapidly and was very flexible. The house was excellent and stylish! Such a nice and enjoyable time. Highlights: Interior fireplace and architecture in general. Outside sauna.
