Beachfront Escape in Sleepy Coastal Village
A beautiful, newly decorated three-bedroom house on the Jurassic Coast in the quiet and secluded area of Ringstead Bay. The house can accommodate six people, it has private front and rear gardens, stunning views across the water to Weymouth and Portland, and beach access directly in front of the property. The coastal path runs right past the front of the house leading to White Nothe and Lulworth in one direction and Osmington Mills and the local pub in the other. This is a dog friendly house and there are amazing walks to be had along the beach or on the many paths and routes in the local area This is a newly decorated, light and airy ground floor home with three bedrooms – a master king bedroom with single day bed and ensuite shower room; another king bedroom; one twin room (one queen bed and one single bed). In addition to the ensuite bathroom, the house has another two spacious shower rooms, with enough hot water for everyone to shower after a swim in the sea! The large open plan kitchen/living area has a brand-new kitchen with all the necessary amenities and a large range cooker; a separate utility/dishwashing area; a dining area with a table for eight people; and a seating area with a large smart television. The house also has fast broadband with wifi, a washing machine, a dryer, parking for 5 cars, garden furniture, use of a BBQ (please clean it after use) and a selection of beach toys. Guests have exclusive use of the house and garden. The few bedrooms in the old house (1st floor) will be locked and will never be occupied during your stay. You will be welcomed at the start of your stay. We are available over the phone for any requests or information for the duration of your stay and will advise how to lock up when you leave The home is set along beachfront (which can be accessed by a rugged cliff path) in the secluded hamlet of Ringstead on the Jurassic Coast. The area is ideal for hiking, fossil hunting, sailing, and fishing. Nearby Osmington Mills has a pub and cafe. There is a tiny independent shop in the village selling essentials and ice creams, both weymouth and Dorchester have many large supermarkets. it is not essential but advised to have a car if planning on getting to the local towns during your stay. you are welcome to bring boats, there is fantastic fishing in the bay and we can advise on the best spots. Sailing is great as well. Larger boats can be taken to the beach via the slip ramp 100m from the house or in weymouth marina. Small boats and dinghys can go down the short cliff in front of the house. Upon prior request we can provide access to a boat and recreational water sports equipment and toys Use of these is at your own risk and we will ask for a small deposit. The Old Reading Room West Stafford, Dorset.
The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. Our Chalet is a treasured home away from home, overlooking stunning Durdle Door, a World Heritage Site on the beautiful Dorset Jurassic Coast…. The chalet has a large decking overlooking the sea, it’s a total escape…..it has 1 King Double bedroom with en-suite, & 1 twin, 2 shower rooms & fully fitted modern kitchen/living area which opens onto the large decking area and panoramic views of the sea… to the left is Lulworth Cove, to the right the Isle of Portland, amazing sunrises and sunsets!

We are a Modern Stone built cottage in beautiful village. Private secure gated parking for 2 guest cars. We love our local pub The Springhead which is 1 minute walk away, set around a duck pond with willow trees. There are numerous country and coastal walks nearby and we welcome dogs. We live upstairs but you are completely separate to us and left alone. There is 2 large bedrooms a kitchen equipped with small mini oven and microwave, bathroom inc bath and shower and comfortable lounge.

This unique suite with it's own private stairway from the floral garden leading to your own private balcony is a perfect base looking onto the Jurassic Coast above Ringstead Bay. Above the property is the inner coastal path and Ridgeway walks. Nearby is beach access at Ringstead Bay and Osmington Mills. The suite comprises a cosy lounge area, shower room and toilet, hallway with boot and coat cupboard and luxurious bedroom with Purbeck Stone wall overlooking the garden.

One of 2 huts, each with off road parking and shared access path down steps to private facilities. Located in a secluded spot behind our family home. A fully self contained hut including a double bed, kitchen with multi cooker, wood burner and en-suite bathroom including hot shower and state of the art composting toilet. Small enclosed garden; dog friendly.

Pixon Barn is situated on a working farm on the Jurassic Coastline within an easy driving distance to Weymouth, Lulworth Cove, and Abbotsbury. It is located next to numerous bridlepaths, perfect for avid walkers, cyclists and lovers of the countryside. We welcome any and all well behaved dogs. There are several pubs all within a 5 minutes distance by car, as well as our own farm cafe and shop located on the main road into Weymouth. Best ice-cream around.!

The Boathouse Osmington Mills
The Boathouse was originally built as boat storage for the New Coastguard Cottages ca. 1905. It is situated in a secluded position next to the South West Coast Path giving door step access to coastal walks to Weymouth, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. If shorter walks are more favourable, its less than a 5 minute walk to the pebble beach and the Smugglers Inn pub, a pretty thatched roof country pub – once the headquarters for 17th Century smugglers.
