Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Osceola County

Stumbled across this gem of a house for a three day weekend. It was a wonderfully cozy cabin with a magical backyard just off the 2nd floor. We grilled, lit the fire pit and swung on the hammock and relaxed. The beds and linens were super comfortable, air flow in the rooms was nice. Each room was special with its own way, it was hard to choose which to choose for our stay. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything we needed. Found many fun and thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. The upstairs living room became the heart of the space for us and loved watching movies on the comfortable couch to end the night. The grounds were amazing and went on long hikes exploring the many acres the place has to explore. Walked to the river and saw fish pass us under the bridge. Trail felt well marked and taken care of. Truly can’t say enough good things. You can feel how much love went into setting this place up. We left rested, happy, and already planning our next stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage! The weather wasn’t great during our stay, but it didn’t stop us from fishing or boating on the lake. We LOVED the boat with the trolling motor, it was perfect for us. The cottage was very comfortable and gave that “at home” feeling. Many amenities were provided and appreciated in the event you forgot or needed something. Our two dogs were with us and we had no issues with them during our stay; in fact they enjoyed being by the lake, on the boat, in the sunroom and even just walking on the dock. Places we enjoyed going to in Evart: StoneHouse Vineyard (AMAZING and everyone was so welcoming and friendly) & Mishler’s Drive-In (very tasty hot dogs and burgers) The town of Cadillac, MI was so neat (about 40 minute drive from the cottage) where we enjoyed The Sweet Shop, House of Hunan & Horizon Books bookstore! Overall our stay was a nice getaway even in colder, wet weather. Thank you for all the nice touches and great communication!

Beautiful property! Enough space for the whole family and it was very clean too. Laurie was very responsive and helpful. We would love to be back in the future!

This is lovely place that is great for children. Our families had wonderful time, and great reading materials are available too.

This is a very cute place just like in the pictures, has everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Nice walk to the River - make sure to bring bug spray! The only thing was no Internet/Wifi (noted on the site, I missed it) but the Hot spot works just fine and really good while out here even if you work everyday I have had no issues at all with my internet with my Wifi HotSpot. Nice and quiet !

Pam was very responsive and helpful with any question I had. The cabin was great and our kids loved fishing in the river and having a fire every night.

What an adorable stay! I especially appreciated the decor in both bedrooms. Very well appointed (along with the exposed brick) and they thought of all the things to make it feel welcoming. Bed was very comfortable, lovely towels and linens, comfortable living room furniture to relax. It's in a perfect downtown location also. Walkable to all sorts of restaurants and coffee shops. Aaron was very communicative and helpful also! Definitely recommend!

There were a couple of things that we didnt like, but out of the host control. Host, was extremely helpful, and responsive within mins. The place was quaint, felt right at home. Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to everything. if we are travelering this way again. We will stay here. very pleased.

The space was immaculate. It looked recently painted and fresh. The staff were extremely responsive. My phone can't support the upgrade to airbnb and they helped me work around that issue.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Juli Lynne's place is very comfortable, very livable, very clean, and right next to a wonderful county park where you can take a nice walk. Juli Lynne was very nice, very communicative and made sure we were satisfied with everything, and we were. It was a great place for a weekend getaway!

Great stay, small and cozy for 2 people. Bathroom shower / getting out is kind of tight but doable. A larger person might have more of an issue but over all would recommend. Pretty central in a small town

Great lodging option in an area where there aren’t a ton of lodging options… Perfect for anglers fishing in and around the Baldwin, MI area. Clean, cozy, newly renovated, and setup very nicely for fishermen.

The condo was located on beautiful Lake Cadillac, just a few minutes from downtown. It was clean with all the amenities anyone could need. I was able to do laundry, cook dinner and sit out and watch the sunset all from our condo. We had easy access to the lake right out the backdoor, along with a firepit. Right across the road is a volleyball net that the kids loved and they were able to enjoy the pool, as well. We loved the place and would defiantly stay again.

The home was very clean and well-maintained, which was important for me since I was staying here while on a work trip. The owner is very responsive as well.

The hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly. The place is huge, comfortable and spacious. Our family loved it and we hope to return in the future.

We didn’t actually get to stay at this lovely condo because I accidentally booked the wrong dates! Jessica was quick to respond and was extremely understand. We hope to get to stay here sometime in the future!!
