“Set in a picturesque valley, with views through all the windows, a traditional substantial farmhouse has been restored, modernised and elegantly decorated to a very high standard. Eight adults enjoyed loads of space - large bedrooms and bathrooms, very big TV/ general lounge space, smaller individual lounges, and a wonderfully warm, cosy dining/lounge area thanks to the wood fire burner. Never felt cold even though it was one degree overnight. The country kitchen with large pantry a delight. And I haven’t yet mentioned the gorgeous landscaped formal garden centred with majestic huge palm tree plus fruit trees etc. Loved listening to bird song and watching them dart through the garden as we sat in the sun on a number of patios. Great design means sunny spots morning & afternoon. We all loved it so much we spent our last afternoon discussing not only our next trip but planning individual family trips with our children & grandkids.”

“Rhonda and Frank has a wonderful property nestled in the hills surrounding Yackandandah. The cottage was located separate from the main house and we had complete privacy. The cottage is very comfortable and extremely clean. The views from the property overlooking the valley was breathtaking and the bird life was spectacular too. Yackandandah town is a quick 10min walk down the hill. Rhonda and Frank were fantastic hosts always responding to our requests. They also have a great collection of DVDs and books. The best surprise was Frodo the dog. Highly recommend a stay with Rhonda and Frank.”
Just a short walk away from beautiful High Street with cafes and restaurants, the Sawmill Cottage is the perfect cosy country escape. This beautiful self contained one bedroom cottage has everything you need for the perfect time away.
“We had a lovely relaxing time at the Sawmill cottage. The veggie patch was a particular delight - we had raspberries with breakfast and cooked a pumpkin for dinner. For me the quality of a shower can make or break an Airbnb and this shower was excellent! Overall a delightful stay, we will definitely stay again next time we are in Yack”
