Completely newly renovated, 650-year-old old town apartment, only 5 minutes' walk to downtown in an absolutely quiet location in the beautiful Wehrgraben right next to the Steyr River. Special features are antique furniture, marble bathroom with underfloor heating, original wooden floorboards combined with the most modern amenities inconspicuously embedded in the charming ambience. The former barn is originally converted into a holiday home of a special kind, 144 m² on two levels. Surrounded by 2 ha of meadow, 1 ha of forest, a place for retreat, for family holidays, for "Simply Being in Hollenstein." Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag cycle path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house if the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

This is a breathtaking place for people who really want peace and nature, far away from everything else. Meadow, forest, fresh air and mountains. Here there are deer, chickens, cats and bees. The apartment is on a farm, alone in the middle of a large clearing, which I am building as an organic farm with permaculture. It consists of a huge room with wooden floor, new wood-burning stove and mountain views, as well as a bathroom, and a kitchen.

The apartment is located in beautiful countryside and very quiet. The landlord and his family are extremely friendly, accommodating and helped us easily with questions and small concerns. The apartment has everything you need for a few days away. Because we cooked a lot, the small dishwasher was great for us. Hiking and walking trails go straight from the neighborhood Excursions can be made to the Basilica on the Sunday mountain (fantastic Rubdumblick) or to Waidhofen an der Ybbs. We enjoyed it very much and we can absolutely recommend the accommodation for families and peace seekers!
