Fish's Yurt - Romantic Luxury Escape

This traditional four season Mongolian Yurt features it’s own bathroom, kitchen, living area and queen size bed. It is heated with a thermostatically controlled fireplace. We are located four hours north of Toronto in one of the most beautiful areas of Ontario, Almaguin Highlands between Killarney Provincial Park, Grundy Provincial Park, Restoule Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park. Fish's Yurt is located on Seagull Lake, a short 10 minute stroll down a private trail to the lake.

Salmon River Wilderness Camp: Yurt & 300 acres

Our camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Relax by the toasty wood stove, chop firewood, and hike or snowshoe through the rolling landscape of forests, granite, and river. Centrally located between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, and near Puzzle Lake Provincial Park. NOTE: For winter camping, depending on weather and road conditions, you may have to hike or snowshoe up to 1 km to reach the yurt. This is a real backwoods experience!

Quiet Retreat for Two

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Close to Algonquin Park, Arrowhead Provincial Park and central to many beautiful walking/ATV/Cycle/cross country skiing and Sledding trails. We are just across from The Magnetawan river system - great for fishing, and just 5 minutes from the public beach, dock and boat launch. Close to all that nature has to offer, let your adventure begin in the 'biggest little town' in Ontario!

Welcome to the Patersons of Huron Shores- located on 80 acres on the banks of the Mississagi River in Iron Bridge ON. Here you can unplug from life and reconnect with nature.This is a place to relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity,running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!

Natural Mongolian Yurt on Biodynamic Farm and Spa

The yurt is located on our 200 acre biodynamic farm in beautiful West Grey. Guest are welcome to walk around the property and enjoy being in nature. A cozy insulated space available all year round. This accommodation is rustic with outhouse (composting toilets), an outdoor shower and wash basin. Farm experience is also available. Snowshoeing or skiing trails are nearby or on the farm. The Spa (hot tub and sauna) is only available for private bookings for an additional fee.

A large radiant-floor-heated circular building with wooden rafters and skylight. This one-of-a-kind backyard yurt has been intentionally decorated and appointed with self-retreats in mind. Perfect for self retreats, romantic couples getaways and writers retreats. We are fully stocked with yoga and meditation props. We intentionally do not have WiFi. This is a place to unplug and reconnect with your self, others, and nature.
