Tent vacation rentals in Ontario

Stayed in one of ghe prospect tents. They are huge. All camping essential provided. Will visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at Wild Woods Hideaway! The grounds are thoughtfully laid out. Our girls ages 6-9 had the time of their lives. There were boats, trails, fire pits, saunas and more! The location is perfect if you want/need to head into Kenora, but also off the beaten path. There were dishes, stove, gas, and water all conveniently placed to camp without headache. We would highly recommend to others or return if we are on this side of the country👍🏼

Thank you Jennifer for another lovely stay at Nature’s Harmony! It is so refreshing getting away from the city and relaxing in such a peaceful and tranquil location. Our dogs loved the trip too!

Friendly Host and great place.

I had an amazing stay at the Levitation Tent, surrounded by a beautiful water stream and trees, very private but close enough to enjoy other scenery, activities and amenities and access to the main road. Is near by but not bothersome. It’s a true hidden gem! The hosts and people there were most accommodating and helpful with making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Truly outstanding team and camping experience in beautiful Mattawan!

Place was great. Tent was clean and it had everything they said it would have. Outdoor lights weren’t working, but John/team came out to fix them. Water was 5-10 minute walk away and had easy access to get in. Great spot for swimming/paddle boarding etc. Would easy come back again!

My wish list for summer 2021 included staying in a yurt. All my dreams came true at Rockhill Park in the Lotus Belle Tent. I planned a trip with my niece and loved it so much that I returned with my sisters a couple of weeks later. The Lotus Belle tent is adorably decorated. Denise and Brooke went out of their way to personalize each of my stays, which was super thoughtful. *The bed and bedding are super comfortable *Teas, coffee supplied and appreciated *Fresh flowers were beautiful *The cutting board, Keurig coffee machine, Kettle, microwave, small fridge, fans were all there for our comfort. The washrooms are super clean, and the showers were great—no problem with hot water. There was lots of kidling and wood for fires and great chairs to enjoy them in. We hiked and enjoyed the entire property. However, our favorite part of our time was spent in the pond. I brought a giant inflatable tube, and we spent hours floating around and soaking up the sun every day! I am still in awe that we had this gorgeous property to ourselves. It was so serene at night, even during a couple of nights of thunderstorms. This past weekend was the first time that my sisters and I spent time together without children, and it was perfect in every way. Denise even extended our check-out time so we could get more out of time together. We hope to return year after year to Rockhill Park. I can only imagine that hidden gem will be known in no time, so I best reserve soon! Thank you so much, Denise and Brook, for giving us the perfect space to make memories.

My husband and I stayed in Alicia and David's glamping tent from Sunday, August 18 and checked out this morning (Tuesday the 20th). It was exactly what we expected - a little rustic but with all the amenities and conveniences of a cottage. It was the perfect location and centrally located for us as we were meeting up with friends and family in Portland, Elgin, Philipsville and Delta. On our first day/night, there was a severe weather warning from Environment Canada with excessive rain in southern Quebec and eastern Ontario. We had torrential rain and wind that night. The tent and tarp above remained intact (they are solid) and the interior of the tent remained dry. The deck overlooks a wetland that is home to a number of birds, including hawks, trumpeter swans, goldfinch, veeries, sparrows and flycatchers. Unfortunately, we did not see the bald eagles. If you are looking for a place to unwind and be surrounded by nature, I recommend Alicia and David's get-away.

We had a great weekend in this Airbnb. It was our first time camping during winter. We apprehended the cold temperature (-16° at night), but it was actually warm and cosy inside the tent. Becky and Jason are really friendly and available if case of need. Thank you!

We had an excellent time camping out by Terri’s beautiful pond! It was more than we had hoped for in a camp site. Everything about the property was whimsical and stunning! Our hosts made us feel welcome immediately, sharing with us all of the fun activities we could do, and welcoming us to explore the fields and groves! From the minute our kids got out of the truck they were engaged and excitedly having fun doing all there was to do! Even the outhouse was an enjoyable experience ☺️ Fabulous and fun family weekend at a serene location! We definitely want to visit again!

We absolutely loved our glamping experience at Sibo’s place! The setup had everything we needed – just bring your food and clothes, and you’re all set. The stargazing was truly magical, and having a couple of provincial parks nearby made for great day trips. Thank you so much, Sibo, for providing such a compelling and comfortable escape. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Kings Portage Park with our tent for four nights and we had a great time! It definitely is a beautiful, secluded area, with nice spots to relax and to get away from the big city. There is easy access to the water and we used the canoe and kayak rental almost every day. Janice was super welcoming and provided us with everything needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back.

I really enjoyed camping at Dustin’s property on my way out West! Situated in a cozy nook off of the highway, the campsite had everything I needed: flat grassy area with shady trees, clean and private outhouse, bonfire pit with comfortable chairs, and an amazing host! I would definitely stay there again.

This was a great spot !!! The view was stunning. Also very private. I highly recommend this little get away. I would love to go back again someday.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Camp Cedar! The site is secluded and we didn't see anyone else during the time we were there. We brought our dog as well and we had such a great time hiking the trails on property. I loved the outdoor kitchen, it really helped to make meal prepping and clean up much easier. Plenty of water was provided for our stay. The outhouse was clean and a nice addition to the campsite. We were really grateful for how much firewood was provided as we love to have fires throughout the day and night. Overall the stay was great and we would definitely come back again

We were on a bikepacking race and so camping. Erin was very helpful showing us where to camp, letting us use there bathroom, charging our batteries, and inviting us to watch the hockey game with them.

Jonathan’s camp site is peaceful and spacious. We might never be able to sleep on the ground again, now that we’ve had the pleasure of a comfy bed in a very nice tent.

We had a fantastic long weekend glamping experience! The site was immaculate, with everything we needed provided, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort!
