Bay Cottage is a lovely place to stay. Spacious with everything one needs for a few days. Christine was a friendly host who came over to meet us at the cottage which is removed from the house. This makes for a quiet and secluded stay where you can appreciate the bird song. While the location is rural ( in a citrus orchard) it was a short drive to Takaka and we were able to dine well there. An enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful property and very comfortable, cosy accommodation with stunning surrounds. Our host Natascha was very attentive and friendly without being intrusive of our privacy. We loved the hot tub with the most amazing view out across the bay. Thank you so much, we will return some other time!

This has been our third stay here, and again, I cannot recommend it enough. The most peaceful, private and tranquil location. Surrounded by native bush, birdsong, and the lull of the river. Such beautiful surroundings, and so many places to adventure and visit close by. The Cottage itself has always been perfectly clean, welcoming and fully equipped. We will absolutely be visiting again.
