Upscaled Loft in Historic Center with sunny patio

Our guest apartment is absolutely brand new, transformed from an old typography workshop to a sophisticated design space. The furniture was created by hand using local and eco-friendly materials or renovated old pieces. There is a King size bed with super comfortable mattress and premium quality pillows, a work desk with a library, a sofa that turns into a double bed and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table. The large industrial style windows open directly space to the veranda where our guest could enjoy their lunch or relax to the deck chairs with an unrestricted view to a central soothing square In spacious bathroom, you will find a big shower and a storage space with many extra amenities and comfort facilities like washing machine, hairdryer, first aid kit and toweling. The space has high-speed internet and is designed to be accessible for persons with special needs. Every space or supplies in my property are available to use. I allow a flexible arrival time best for my guests and also I m accessible frequently because of living and working in the neighborhood. But I prefer to respect your privacy so I let you know to contact me (sms, mail, phone) if you have any request or concerns. Also there is available a unique guide with various info’s and many tips for the city in order to facilitate you to self-manage your needs and discover the “genius loci” of the place. The apartment lies in the neighborhood of Psiri, one of the oldest districts of Athens around the rock of Acropolis. It’s on a quiet street next to a pedestrian area, with small squares where people gather to eat or shop from artisans or collectors. Walking distance (3-4 minutes) by metro stations of lines Monastiraki (line 1 & 3) and Thissio (line 1). Monastiraki station has a direct connection to the airport and to the Piraeus Port too. Using metro or by car/taxi arrive at the Larisis Train Station to central and northern Greece. Parking using a low-cost card or at private parking to the next block by a daily fee (starting from 5€) Don’t hesitate to ask information about current cultural and social events around the city during your stay. Also I m a young mom and I can share with other moms many facilities for feeding, sleeping or creative play for newborns and kids.

La meva estada a l’apartament va ser excel·lent. L’Amelie va ser molt atenta en tot moment: sempre va respondre molt ràpid a qualsevol dubte i em va fer recomanacions molt bones de restaurants i llocs per visitar. També va ser molt flexible, cosa que vaig agrair molt. L’apartament està molt ben situat, amb tots els llocs més emblemàtics de la ciutat accessibles caminant i molt a prop de la zona de Plaka. A més, el barri és molt tranquil, perfecte per descansar després de dos dies visitant la ciutat. Sens dubte, recomano aquest allotjament!

Great apartment in the heart of it all. Easy access to historic sites on foot, lots of restaurants nearby, close to the metro. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. I am light sleeper, and while we could hear people at the nearby cafes, it wasn’t loud enough to bother me while sleeping. Perfect little place to explore Athens for a few days!

Got everything you need and the location in exarchia is perfect. Central, but on the slightly quieter street. Most of all George is just the best host I’ve ever had. Helpful, kind, attentive, and responsive. Can’t recommend staying here enough! My favourite Airbnb experience.

Ho soggiornato in questo alloggio durante la mia visita ad Atene e non avrei potuto chiedere di meglio! La posizione è perfetta: centrale e comoda per raggiungere a piedi le principali attrazioni, inclusa l’Acropoli. L’appartamento era pulitissimo, ben arredato e dotato di tutti i comfort necessari. Il quartiere è tranquillo ma ricco di ristoranti, bar e piccoli negozi. La comunicazione con l’host è stata eccellente: sempre disponibile e molto cordiale, ci ha fornito utili consigli per visitare la città e vivere un’esperienza autentica. Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno piacevole e senza stress ad Atene. Ci tornerei volentieri!

A spacious, quiet and convenient apartment walkable to everything Athens has to offer. Peter was kind, helpful and always responsive. His instructions and information were as clear as I have ever known. He even helped us find a taxi for our onward journey - nothing was too much trouble. There are some reviews which criticise the area, but we beg to differ. OK, it’s what you might expect in the middle of a big city, but set right by the National Theatre we felt safe, secure and relaxed at all times. The apartment was big, and has a terrific view. It was really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Thanks Peter - we’ll be back!
