House vacation rentals in Old Town, Bologna

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

This house was amazing, we brought our 3 dogs along and had the best time. An extremely private garden and pool with lots of games. She provided all bbq equipment, portable speaker, TVs loads of towels everything you’d need. Dorella was a fantastic host and it’s a really lovely comfortable home. The pool is the big selling point and it didn’t disappoint

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Very kind staff, beautiful and clean accommodation. Hard to find location

Visiting Lisbeth & Lars is more than just an accommodation. We stayed at the couple’s unit which was perfect – very clean and well maintained with all our necessities. This place is perfect to have you slipping into Italian style living. We had our morning coffee at the porch with the birds singing for us😃 But the most important thing about this place is the hospitality. Lisbeth & Lars are the perfect hostesses and helped us reserve the best restaurants in the area plus tours with local balsamic and parmesan producers. We will certainly come again, next time at the summer to check out the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alberto's house. The park is beautiful and the house is very comfortable and well-equipped. Alberto is charming and always attentive to make sure our stay goes smoothly. The house is close to Bologna and around the house there are beautiful walks.

Amazing apartment for the price. 3 full bedrooms with 2 baths. Huge living room and kitchen. Great for big companies and families. The only thing, for the apartment of this size, I think it’s preferable to have more than one set of keys. Has all the amenities and heating worked perfectly. The host responded very quickly.

The property is great, bigger than expected. It has all the ammenities you may need and the fridge is stacked with water and some sodas, what was amazing on the hot day that we arrived. The road at the back, perpendicular to the house has loads of nice bars and restaurants were you will find all the locals hanging around. About 30min walk from the Bologna train station. Gian Luca is super nice and responsive, and gave us some really great suggestions. Deffinatelly recommend for anyone visiting Bologna or near by towns.

I stayed at Mattia's and had a great time, I was with 7 friends and we had a great time, communication with the host was super fast and transparent, definitely if I go back to Bologna I know where to stay. Recommended

I travelled from Belgium to South Italy and Monica’s place was the best outif all. Minimalistic decoration, fully equipped kitchen, very clean place, super comfortable bed. One of the places you would like to own yourself. Perfecto!

Clean and safe place in an entertaining area of Bologna

This was a very easy place to stay for a big family or more friends. Nice rooms with private bathrooms in each of the rooms each of the rooms All rooms also have their own code lock. Two floors. Large and nice kitchen. Linda had put out some snacks, water, and coffee pods for us, which made us feel very welcome. Very easy to use the house, easy check-in with code locks and good communication with the host. The table tennis table outside was extensively used. Could usefully have had a few more outdoor seating options. Free parking in the street just outside the house. About 15 min away from Bologna city centre (about 20 euros for taxi).

We had a great time in this apartment! The hosts were very kind and always available for any need, making the stay even more enjoyable. The apartment is right under their home, but we had all the privacy we needed. The interior is an open space, but very spacious, well-kept and welcoming: you can immediately breathe a warm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a few days of tranquility. The only small aspect to consider is that the bathroom is not inside the apartment, but in an adjacent common area. However, it is still reserved for guests and is easily accessible. Overall, a great solution that we recommend to those looking for a quiet, clean place with really thoughtful hosts!

Spacious, great location and extremely convenient to the train station. This space worked perfectly for our 3 couple travels. Our host was extremely accommodating and allowed for luggage storage and bathroom use after checkout, which meant we could enjoy our day before departing from the train station.

We arrived late at night, they welcomed us very well, very kind, always available. The studio was perfect for us, with a very small bomb and a dog, we had all the necessary spaces. The wonderful garden that surrounds the house, ideal for the dog, the studio well furnished and very very clean! If we go back to Bologna, we will definitely come back here!

A very nice apartment, cozy and tastefully decorated. It offers enough space for four adults. It is centrally located in the village, shops and good restaurants are within walking distance. It is not too hectic there, however, only a few cars drive through the street in front of the house, the large garden additional peace. It's great that you can park in it. Savigno is a great starting point for visits to Bologna or Modena, for cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature of Emilia. From there, we also made nice trips to the (bathing) lake of Suviana and to Ferrara - and in the evening we were still happy to come back to our idyllic village and still be able to stroll to the ice cream parlor for an affogato. Communication with Andrea and his sister worked without any problems, they were easy to reach and very accommodating. Thank you for everything, we will be happy to come back!

What a beautiful and historic location to stay on our trip to Italy! The home had everything that we needed for our trip, including a coffee maker and full kitchen. The tall trees and beautiful patio area with the roses during spring were gorgeous. There was some historical information that said this place was built around the year 1220, but it is quite modern with all of the amenities inside. The bed was comfortable. The host greeted us when we arrived to let us in with the key. The host was very responsive when we had any issues or questions. We did have some challenges with the Wi-Fi, but it could have just been a temporary issue. The water pressure in the shower is low which is not a surprise for a which is not a surprise for an older building, but it was fine for what we needed to take a shower.

It’s a large property with a few buildings in it that are each listed separately on Airbnb. We rented two of them for our group of 6 and it was very easy to communicate this to our host and stay organized. The property is beautiful - stunning views of Bologna. I wouldn’t say it’s walkable to the town, so definitely have a car if you’re staying here. We rented the Spa for a night, which was lovely. But I wouldn’t recommend cooking in the kitchens provided, they’re very small. Overall it’s a fantastic location! Would stay again!
