Monthly Rentals in Old Heathfield

11 of us stayed here for the bank holiday weekend and we had a great time! The barbecue grill and pizza oven was in great condition and we lit a fire at night which was cozy. Mandy was very helpful and responsive and we got to meet Clive and his dog Bert too :) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation for a large group of people

We had a wonderful stay with our toddler at Christy’s place. She accommodated our needs with no fuss and a lot of care- providing a high chair, stair gate and cot for our little one. The Annex is beautiful and in a great location to explore East Sussex and Kent. Would not hesitate to recommend this place! It is outstanding. Thanks Christy and Nicholas!

The whole experience of staying at Hyfield Stables was faultless. All the instructions and descriptions were clear and accurate. We were visiting family locally so are familiar with the area but couldn't have chosen better. The layout of the property was perfect as we had a 4 year old and his mum at one end and my husband and I at the other. Absolutely ideal. Every surface and utensil was spotless, the beds were comfortable and it was very quiet being so far off of the main road. Thank you - we would highly recommend staying here.

First, I’d just like to say, Sue, your host, is a wonderful person and a great host - kind, friendly, practical, and very hospitable. My stay at Marklye Stables was truly a memorable one. Personally, I loved the feeling of having so much private space to myself in such a lovely, picturesque, rural setting. It gave me the necessary sense of freedom to be able to relax completely. There are plenty of walks, directly from the Stables, following good pathways through the local woods and across the meadows. Walking on the South Downs is just a short car drive away. Sue is an ardent rambler herself and familiar with most walks, both near and farther afield. The town of Heathfield is just less than a mile’s walk away along the pathway of the disused railway line. I will definitely return.
