Bungalow vacation rentals in Ojai

This place is amazing! If you are looking for an affordable house ON THE BEACH with LOTS of beds then this is your place! It’s not state of the art or completely upgraded, but it is so cozy. We were there with 5 small children and 6 adults and we were never in each others way. The beach itself is beautiful and the outdoor shower is a perfect addition to this beach get away. There are lots of amenities provided so don’t stress! Towels, shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, toilet paper, beach chairs, beach loungers, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, hand soap, outdoor shower, hose, grill with gas hook up, bedding, blender, coffee maker, 2 microwaves, 2 ovens…so much! Bring some WD 40 for the tar you might get on your feet and make sure you put the trash cans out ON SUNDAY NIGHT! The trash man comes EARLY Monday morning. The recycle only gets picked up every other Monday so don’t stress if it doesn’t get emptied…the schedule is on the fridge. Also, the knives are TERRIBLE! If you like to cook you might want to bring a few of your own. I hesitate to leave a good review because we plan to return and I don’t want it to be unavailable but it is awesome!!! Communicate early with TREE if you have questions. They will get back to you but not right away. We would just call the number and send a message on the app and they would eventually get back to us. Enjoy your stay! Check all of the drawers before you leave. There are tons of dressers and it’s easy to leave things behind.

So nice to have a place to stay and be together as a family! We spent as much time on the beautiful beach as possible, cooked up amazing meals, played games around the table, and had a movie night. Great experience and hope to come back!

Perfect little beach bungalow! The house was very clean had all of the amenities you could need from beach toys, BBQ in the backyard, kitchen items, coffee maker with coffee, firepit, beach towels and more. Located in a great spot to walk right to the beach, restaurants and the farmers market. Lovely little home, we can't wait to come back again

I really enjoyed this location. There is a lot going on right now in Malibu, construction and things like that, but it was a nice simple stay. Thank you so much for making it easy.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in beautiful Carpinteria. The location of Kathy’s cottage is outstanding and everything was perfect. The new kitchen is beautiful and very functional. 10 out of 10 would book again.

I had the most amazing time staying at Jenny's beach cottage for a long weekend in April. I traveled solo to Ventura and fell in love with the Merry Mermaid and the community. The property is a very short walk to the beach, on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. I loved opening the windows and half door in the cottage to let in the ocean breeze while I worked and cooked. The kitchen was well stocked, and it was just a quick ~5-10 minute drive to Ventura's main street with shops, restaurants, and breweries. Jenny had lots of fantastic local recommendations, which I really appreciated as a first-time visitor to the area. I watched sunsets on the beach with supplies from Surf Liquor (right down the road, super friendly staff) and strolled through the neighborhood to the market, grocery store, and state park; I really enjoyed all of the beautiful yards and gardens along the way. I would absolutely stay at Jenny's place again and recommend it to all of my family and friends!

Epic location—right on the ocean, which made for a deeply calming personal retreat. I got to know Malibu in a whole new way. Everything about the stay was seamless: incredibly clean, smooth check-in, and top-notch communication. Malibu Suites was professional from start to finish.

We had a lovely trip, both Zach and Izzy were fabulous to deal with. The location of the property is right on the ocean and walking distance to the pier and a number of great restaurants. We will hopefully be back soon! Thank you again for a great trip!

John’s place is clean and quiet. Kitchen is stocked linens are clean and fresh, also so close to Venice beach plus Venice Canals, shopping and restaurants, 45 ish minutes away from Disneyland so fun ya’ll! Great place to stay!!

I enjoyed everything about this rental! Thank you David and Cindy for allowing us to use your space. Your home is beautiful, the treats were much appreciated especially with an 11 year old son who is a snacker. The location was perfect for our trip. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Anita's place is so fun & cute, & you can't beat the location right in the heart of WEHO! Plus the place is fully loaded with all the kitchen items you would need, nice furniture, a lovely outside area, & most importantly, comfortable beds! Plenty of space & really nicely decorated. You can walk to everything & if it is too far for your personal walking, then it's a quick Lyft ride away. Awesome neighborhood & fairly quiet considering location & inside the unit is totally silent at night for sleeping. When the owner of the place I originally booked wanted to use it during my scheduled dates, Anita quickly got the reservation moved to this place which was less than block away. So helpful & very responsive!!

I stayed here for work and it was perfect! Everything was very clean comfortable and attractive. I arrived late and there were even thoughtful snacks and beverages. The neighborhood was quiet and I walked to work, a great play, a fantastic coffee roaster and downtown restaurants. I highly recommend this bungalow and can't wait to stay again.

The bungalow was absolutely perfect! Great location and a quick walk to the beach. Michael was very responsive when we emailed with questions and made sure our stay was everything we were hoping for. We would definitely stay again if back in the area:)

Loved the bungalow and the location was perfect. Host was very responsive when I asked for ice as it was a scorcher the day I arrived. Will stay again next time in LA.

Location - location - location! Great airbnb experience - clean and modern home steps away from all the shops and restaurants in Montecito! Recommend, and we will def be back!
