Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oita

The onsen house was awesome and offered a different experience than the usual ryokan in an onsen town. The place was spacious and had the amenities needed for an overnight stay as a family of four. One tip for those driving in is to try to arrive when there is daylight as the roads leading to the house were very narrow and difficult to manoeuvre, especially where it is one way only. The roads leading back to the main Street were wider but had many pedestrians, so driving in the area just takes a bit of patience…but all aside, the onsen in the house made it all worth it.

The location is great, and there are two hot springs just 1-2 minutes on foot.Moreover, I used it with a bath ticket.Beppu Station is also nearby, and there are many restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of places to eat local food.Also, there was attention to detail everywhere, and we had a pleasant time.

We loved our stay at this place. It was very spacious for the two of us and we enjoyed using the private onsen. It would have been easier to find the place if the outside light was left on before we arrived.

There is a private hot spring and the interior is fully equipped.Convenience store is 3 minutes walk, walking street is 10-15 minutes walk. The living room is smaller than expected, but overall I am very satisfied.

Beautiful house with complete amenities. Nice view and surroundings. The only downside is that it is far from Beppu Station. Good if you have a car. But we will definitely recommend this place.

Masahide's house is a delight, the most comfortable we have been able to enjoy in Japan. The setting is beautiful, we were able to have our breakfasts in the garden and walk around the house. The summit of Mount Aso is a 25-minute drive away. Everything you need to cook is available in the house, salt, sugar, oils… and there is even a dishwasher, a unique case in a month of travel in Japan. Finally, Masahide is really a remarkable host, very helpful, English speaking and friendly. We should have stayed longer!

This is a good place to enjoy as a group. Saito Family responds quickly and is friendly. Parking is available, so it's the best for rental car customers. Great place to enjoy with the nearby hot springs!! I recommend it ~~

Overall, the CP value is very high. If I have the chance to come again, I will want to stay again. The quilt smells fragrant and it is also very thoughtful to provide cotton swabs, hair rings, umbrellas, etc. There is also the smell of tatami in the room, which feels like a Japanese room!The host will also respond immediately and will recommend it to friends and family ~

Great Airbnb! Very tidy, had all the amenities you need, beds were comfortable, lots of space and great location. Literally 2min walk to the train station which has a family mart located inside and super market within walking distance. The car park is easy to access also. Overall great stay!! Beppu is totally worth visiting and has so much to do in locations close by. Some things to note: Although the instructions were good, check in was a bit time consuming and difficult navigate at times felt like the amazing race or something similar, but the host response was quick. There is also a camera inside of the room, pointing at the front door. There is a picture of where the camera is facing, but something to be aware of depending on your comfort level. We weren’t sure if they can also hear audio through the camera but it’s seems very clear and transparent of why it’s placed there (security). However a camera outside would still do the job. We would stay here again :)

Our stay was wonderful. The property was clean, exactly as described, and the great location made exploring easy. We especially appreciated the convenient parking lot. Communication with Tony was excellent; they were incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Booked for my elderly parents in GW. It was very spacious than you can see in the photos, the sofa was loose, the bed was comfortable, and my parents were very satisfied. The host was also friendly and explained politely at check-in. The popular sushi restaurant "Suiten" and a supermarket are also just around the corner, so it is conveniently located. It is separated from the living room and dining room, the bedroom is separated, and there are also 4 beds, so it is recommended for 3-4 people.

This farmhouse is a very relaxing and beautiful place! We loved to just chill there in the evening and enjoy the tranquility of slow life.

I was worried about my first trip to Beppu, but it was close to the train station, so I was able to travel very comfortably. I traveled at Christmas time and really appreciated the Christmas cake the host prepared for me. There were a lot of restaurants around the accommodation, so I ate out, and if you go down a little bit, it was good for shopping because it was at Tokiwa Department Store. I think it would be a good choice if you are preparing for a trip to Beppu.

Just a perfect flat, everything what you need wirh good Connections to the center! The onsen was very relaxing and Together with the sauna a perfect spa retreat for The night :) i can fully recommend it :)!

The room is spacious and very comfortable. It has everything you need. It should add a clothes hanger and a place to put your toiletries in the bathroom.

I had a wonderful time. Seigo is very friendly and helpful and even invited me to a small tour of the old town. A wonderful opportunity for me to learn more about the area and practice my Japanese. The place is very nicely renovated and feels right at home. As usual for Japan, all rooms are a little narrow and not highly insulated. I was in the place for a week and the only guest on several days, it felt like the whole house belonged to me.
