This holiday home was perfect for our family to come together & enjoy an immaculate, peaceful, fully equipped beautiful holiday home. The communication was excellent between the owners & ourselves always coming back with answers right away when we sent a message. I would higly recommend this home to anyone looking for an unforgettable lake get away with the perfect holiday home experience.

Amazing property with beautiful views, peaceful neighbourhood away from the busy life. Carolyn is an amazing host — kind, friendly, very helpful with whatever you need and quick to respond, always checking in. I unfortunately had an incident during my stay and Carolyn was very understanding and helpful, I can't thank her enough for not only her hospitality, but just being an overall great person.

Totally recommend! Family friendly felt very at home and comfortable in a beautiful location! Management was very responsive and accommodating and No doubt will book again in the future!

Angela and Dennis were great to communicate with: Angela via the app and Dennis in person. Their place is a great spot to be based: away from the hustle yet close to Ohope beach. The indoor activities (the pool table and pinball machine) were great during rainy weather & in the evenings. All in all a very pleasant stay!

Me & my partner absolutely LOVED staying here. John & Olivia were great hosts, very friendly, instructions were clear and smooth sailing while checking in & out. The house itself is well kept and we had everything we needed even things we didn’t think of. The location is quite secluded which we loved, nice and peaceful but also not far from town it was perfect, thanks so much to Olivia & John for having us 😊 100% recommend if you’re thinking of staying here!

Perfection…in every way. Great communication and Paul was very responsive and accommodating. The place was a slice of heaven and we will definitely be using it every time we travel to Whakatane. Super close to town, with 180 degree ocean views and very respectful quiet neighbours. 10/10 for anyone looking for an amazing place to relax and unwind. Gorgeous place. We met the friendly neighbour who filled us in about the history of area. Location was lovely. In true form my daughter left behind her iPad and the host was kind enough to arrange for this to be posted to us.

Susan was an awesome host and we would stay there again in a 💓 beat. She was extremely helpful and responsive, the house was amazing and well set up for a pleasant stay, had everything we wanted including the spa and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at the lake house in Lake Tarawera, We couldn't recommend it enough! Such an awesome spot if you have a boat or jetskis , If not they have kayaks you are welcome to use. Playground is about a 3-5 minute walk for the kids, Tennis Court is right at your door step. All the neighbors are very friendly and make you feel right at home. If your thinking about booking don't think about it just book it you will have an amazing time!

My family and I had a great weekend away in this beautiful home! The house was bigger than we expected so we had heaps of space to hang out inside while the weather was crazy outside. The grounds and views are also amazing and you are just a short walk to the beach for a swim and then can run back to the spa. Chloe was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thanks!

Loved this location and the space. beds were comfy, living was warm and cosy, nice big dining table (good for a puzzle) plus room to eat from. really close to the lake, highly recommend. didn't get to use the kayak because we had quite poor weather but we would have otherwise. Great secure spot, gated with plenty of parking. Local deer easily spotted from the windows and we saw the Easter bunny (a wild hare I think) on Sunday. The hot tub is wood fired so takes rather a lot of time and effort to heat up and the water needs to be circulated. Just something to be aware of. Angela responds quickly if you need anything. We loved our stay and would stay here again.

Excellent place, plenty of space for a family catch up, situated in the dunes on the beach, enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the waves, super clean / well appointed, really clear instructions about where everything is. The place has a range of little touches that make it excellent, like built in outdoor patio heating. Thanks Sue and Paul.

Liz and the whanau at sharks bay stay were so lovely, We arrived to a beautiful whare, clear easy instructions to get in & wow when you get inside. Absolutely stunning home and you can feel the warmth and love in the home. Liz was awesome, easy to contact and had everything we needed without me packing the kitchen sink, we made sure to utilise the beautiful backyard, spa and kids play area. The pushbikes and games and colouring ins kept everyone busy too. Beautiful area if you just want to relax and beach it with your whanau. This was a whanau trip for us so this whare was honestly perfect for us or your little family or big family. We look forward to our next trip down ! Cant thank Liz and whanau enough 🫶🏽 Great little week away from the North.
