The house is situated in the peaceful village of Bohinjska Bela, a 5-minute drive from Bled and about 20 minutes drive from Bohinj lake. The village is located inbetween the Pokljuka and Jelovica plateaus and is surrounded by the Sava river, forests and pastures. Locals named the house ’Pr` Kovač’ since it used to be a blacksmith's (Kovač) workshop. Today, the house is a blend of traditional and modernity and makes a perfect base for family trips, fly fishing, climbing, hiking, biking etc.

In front of the house, there is free parking, outdoor chill space, and a garden. The house is located in a peaceful residential area, only 5 minutes away from the lake and 30 minutes walk from the city centre. We also provide bicycles which make the transportation enjoyable and fast. For easier further exploration we strongly recommend you rent a car.

Le logement proposé par Andreja est exceptionnel, tout à fait coupé du monde et offre une vue à couper le souffle. Bien que la montée pour arriver au ranch soit relativement ardue, l’environnement vaut largement la peine. Andreja et son mari Mare nous ont préparé un diner et un petit déjeuner qui étaient très bons et étaient toujours disponibles pour nos questions et demandes. Les sanitaires, la douche, la chambre et le ranch en général étaient extrêmement bien entretenus et propres. Nous recommandons ce séjour féérique les yeux fermés.

Sabine was so fun and gave great recommendations. The stay was excellent. It was a quick jaunt into Lake bled, but was outside of the busyness of the Lake. The views were stunning and the custom wood work was so charming and beautiful. We also took advantage of the alpine breakfast being delivered which I highly recommend paying for!

The best place we have stayed! Jurij provides everything you could possible need and is super attentive and helpful. The property is a newly renovated farmhouse (2024) and it is stunning inside and out. It even had a stream at the edge of the land with lots of trout - a fisherman's paradise! We are Superhosts ourselves, so have high standards, but this far exceeded our expectations. We had the double room ensuite. Both rooms were enormous, beautifully furnished and well thought out with lots of little extras - and a great hairdryer. We even had a shared fridge-freezer on the landing and Jurij did our laundry for us whilst we were out enjoying ourselves. The breakfast was amazing - so much choice, fresh and delicious - eaten in beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect for exploring the area and if you buy a Julian Alpes card at the Tourist Information in Bohinji, you can save lots of money on parking and attractions. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!!!!!!!!

Zina was a brilliant host. She was extremely responsive and provided great local knowledge and information. The apartment is very homely, and located in a peaceful spot - an escape from the hustle and bustle of Bled - with lots of trails for exploring nearby mountains! Would 100% recommend.

We wish that we could rate this beautiful and cozy place with a 6. All was perfect, check in went smooth, we were welcome but Luka, we got a welcome local dessert made by his mum which was delicious. He gave us amazing recommendations in what to do in the area, we had amazing hiking experiences. And if you are a fly fisher is also a perfect place to be. We also rent electric mountain bikes which was very convenient and so beautiful places to bike in the area. It is 30min walk to lake Bled. We loved the place, if you want something beautiful, private, beautiful views, close to the Sava Bohinjska River and Bled , this is your place !!

Beautiful home and surroundings. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen and doing evening fires while we ate outside. The bus and train stops are easy to get to. The surrounding areas are great for walks. It was a wonderful stay in Slovenia.
