House vacation rentals in Oberhof

We stayed with 2 families for an extended weekend in Kathi's house. The house and the spacious garden invite you to relax. Everything was clean and well maintained and Kathi was quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful.

Nice accommodation, for a weekend. With the airfield next door, definitely a cool experience. The view from the houses could have been a little nicer for the area. You have to get your water for the accommodation in a canister, but that's not so bad. The sanitary facilities were ok, but can be improved. Very nice staff.

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

Really beautiful surroundings and a special trip for our family. The endless views you look out from the pool are breathtaking. The location is great and the cottage is beautiful and lacks nothing. Erfurt is a beautiful city with a lot of old architecture. We shopped very nicely and had a nice meal in Erfurt city center. Manuela is a very sweet woman who has welcomed us nicely and responded to our messages within moments. We are very happy that she was allowed to use her Paradise.

Constanze and André are super nice and very communicative hosts. They had many tips for us and were always accessible for questions. We (a family of 4 with young children) felt very comfortable in the house and garden, with barbecue, fireplace, pool, playground, trampoline, bicycles and the hangover. The location was optimal for us: With the bikes we were in the old town of Weimar in 10 minutes, on the other hand you could also walk directly over the field to the Ilm or ride a bike on the Ilm bike path. A supermarket with a bakery is within walking distance. We will be happy to come back!

We were lucky enough to spontaneously spend the Easter holidays in the beautiful chalet and had a great time with the family (8 adults, 1 toddler). The chalet is located in a very quiet area on the mountain and is great for a wellness or hiking holiday. The host Dirk was always very accommodating and eager and always communicated quickly. The chalet was very clean and with a lot of love for detail, we felt very comfortable. The highlight was of course sauna and hot tub - we will be happy to come back!

Great for longer stays, has everything you need, pool and sauna was such an extra. Really liked it, recommended!

The cottage is very quietly located on the outskirts of a village and ideal starting point for hiking in the surrounding area. You can hike directly into the mountains from the house. By car, many other interesting destinations in South Thuringia and North Franconia are also quickly accessible. Supermarket and butcher is in the village, discount stores and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a games room with lots of toys for the kids. The communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet any requests. We enjoyed it here. If we are in the area once again we will book the place again.

We felt very comfortable and had a great time in the vacation home. The only thing that could possibly be added would be a stair gate.

We were greeted very warmly and friendly by Silke. She showed us the very tastefully furnished premises, was very eager to make our stay pleasant by naming excursion destinations, localities... Her husband took us on an insider city tour of Weimar, Silke brought us fresh eggs in the morning, put delicious homemade jam on the table, offered us fresh herbs and salad from her garden. We felt very comfortable and "safe." Silke and her husband are two valuable people. Thank you for the lovely and relaxing stay

This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The cabin was lovely and the gardens were beautiful. The sauna was a great feature and there were very nice walking trails right outside the house. The hosts were very kind and had a very generous food basket prepared! The bread service in the morning was also a great touch. I can’t recommend this place enough!

If you are looking for a quiet place, this is definitely a recommendation. The house is spacious, clean and everything we needed was present. Even plenty of coffee, tea, detergent, herbs, oil, etc. The surroundings are quiet, many small beautiful villages where there is little entertainment. But if you drive a little further, there are also beautiful cities to visit. There are many cycling routes nearby where you do not have to cycle on the larger roads. You really get to the middle of nowhere on those routes. Benjamin's parents live 2km away and are really friendly and helpful. Benjamin responds quickly and adequately to messages.

Great house. Very well equipped. You can start many excursions directly from the front door. Pascal is very helpful and everything worked out great. We will be happy to come back in winter for cross-country skiing.

We had a totally lovely stay at Pamela and her family's Hünnerhuis. No cars far and wide, you are in the middle of the biosphere reserve. The silence is wonderfully relaxing. And the cottage is very cozy. The sleeping alcove upstairs can be a little tight for two people (because of the sloping roof). The view through the skylight is really wonderful (sunrise). And there's a second double bed downstairs. We felt very comfortable in this rural spot!

We spent a few days at the Teddy and Doll Festival in Sonneberg and stayed here because it is nice and quiet. It was the right decision.

We visited Cor and Marie José's place for a family get-together with 12 people, from age 1 to 87. The place was perfect for a group with diverse needs - beautiful and cozy bedrooms for privacy and a lovely kitchen and dining area for lots of fun-filled family time. Cor and Marie José were super helpful and wonderful hosts. You can tell that they are passionate about what they do. They are just very warm and welcoming people that make you feel right at home in their house. We can highly recommend staying at their place.

Great place that looks like the pictures. The tiny houses are quietly located. Excellent furnishings and loving communication. Always happy to come back!

We used the apartment with two families (2 children and 2 adults each). The sleeping situation was really ideal as we had two large bedrooms and the entire attic. So everyone could sleep in for different lengths of time. The entrance area was really great, just as you would want at home, 8 people can take off their shoes and jackets at the same time. The kitchen equipment was really very good. A second bathroom, at least when used with 8 people, would certainly be the icing on the cake.

We spent relaxing days in this super beautiful cottage and the idyllic natural garden. The cottage is lovingly renovated, yet it has been able to retain its old charm in many places. There is a lovely welcome package, which the children and our dog were very happy about. The area is super beautiful and interesting. There is a great nature reserve nearby and it is not far to Eisenach. It's just a few kilometers to the nearest village for shopping. You can also have a great vacation in this house and in the surroundings with a rather nervous animal protection dog. There is plenty of space and tranquility for everyone. The people in the village are also very nice and understanding. You can start hiking directly from the house. There is a good information folder. Our children loved the warm down duvets and extra blankets, as the weather was cool on Pentecost. We highly recommend the Kaufmann family and their cottage! 😃

We had a great time with a dog in Manuel's place for two. There was even a welcome treat and the fenced garden was great for a relaxing stay. The district is very small, but we were on the road every day anyway. The area is great for hiking or model flying, which is why we were there. The house is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. The built-in oven impressed us very much and makes cool evenings super cozy. Communication with Manuel was straightforward, although no in-person contact was made, which we a little regretted, but that's a matter of taste. Nevertheless, it was a very friendly and pleasant contact. Will be happy to come back if we go back to the Rhön. A really nice spot in Germany :-)
