Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Oberhof

We spent a few days at the Teddy and Doll Festival in Sonneberg and stayed here because it is nice and quiet. It was the right decision.

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

The cottage is very quietly located on the outskirts of a village and ideal starting point for hiking in the surrounding area. You can hike directly into the mountains from the house. By car, many other interesting destinations in South Thuringia and North Franconia are also quickly accessible. Supermarket and butcher is in the village, discount stores and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a games room with lots of toys for the kids. The communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet any requests. We enjoyed it here. If we are in the area once again we will book the place again.

We were received in a very friendly manner and received an orientation to the accommodation. It had everything we needed for our short trip. Everything was clean and as described. We felt very comfortable. A small, cozy, winding apartment where you feel right at home.

Beautiful weekend home from the first minute. Communication with Rebecca and Philipp was straightforward and warm. The house was perfect for 9 adults: lots of cozy corners for playing, chatting, reading or even working. Great amenities! The surroundings are an inexhaustible hiking paradise. You definitely need a car to get there and to go on excursions. We will be happy to come back!

We used the apartment with two families (2 children and 2 adults each). The sleeping situation was really ideal as we had two large bedrooms and the entire attic. So everyone could sleep in for different lengths of time. The entrance area was really great, just as you would want at home, 8 people can take off their shoes and jackets at the same time. The kitchen equipment was really very good. A second bathroom, at least when used with 8 people, would certainly be the icing on the cake.

We stayed with 3 couples and 1 dog for 3 nights in the Rothäuser Mühle. Bernhard and Susanne are great, likeable and uncomplicated hosts. Always helpful and always approachable and yet mindful of the privacy of the guests. Great! We felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. Everything your heart desires. Our dog spent the whole day outside on the spacious grounds and we didn't want to do a big city tour because it was so nice to sit there under shady trees and enjoy the free days together. We will be happy to come back!

The place was very clean and just right for all the people. Nearby are various restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. If you feel the wanderlust, this is also a good starting point. The huge couch and fireplace invite you to chat and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are enough beds available even if the climb to the top takes some getting used to. But all in all very cozy and modern. We enjoyed the time together very much and can highly recommend Nicole's place.

Great stay with Franziska! The bungalow is really great – perfect for the two of us. The small terrace is pleasant, well located, and the pool is also great. The bungalow was very clean and nicely decorated. Perfect for a getaway. Thanks for everything, we will be happy to come back !

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

We had a fantastic family reunion over the weekend. Wonderfully quiet location, very clean and in every respect perfectly equipped apartment. There's really nothing missing. The hostess is very nice, helpful and accommodating. We have never been better accommodated! I'm sure we'll be back.

Fantastic location! Unfortunately, we were only there one night. The surroundings are simply wonderful. In the apartment, I felt a bit like in a mountain cabin, which I liked very much. A good choice in the area. Communication with Michael was very friendly and straightforward.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner in person and received a short briefing. The location of the accommodation is very quiet, right by the forest, ideal for hiking from there. My daughter was thrilled with the giant swing that hung in the tree. I thought it was great that we got the spa cards, with which you get many discounts, directly upon arrival and did not have to take care of it ourselves. An exceptional service! Everything important was available in the apartment. Very modern decor, chic bathroom. Parking is available right in front of the house. Completely uncomplicated check-out. Host available at any time. Overall very good value for money.

The bungalow surrounded by fir trees and in the background a small stream rushes. Super idyllic and great for relaxing from everyday stress. An outdoor swimming pool is nearby. The location in connection with the bungalow is super cozy. Great value for money. Host was quick to reach and always helpful. Very straightforward.

We spent an extended weekend with Wilma with our dog and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Wilma described everything very accurately and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, thanks!

Beautiful accommodation that invites you to relax. You have everything you need and both the rooms themselves and the equipment is very well maintained and clean. The contact with Carolin was always friendly and accommodating. Even before arrival, she sent us a lot of information and recommendations and she responded quickly and kindly to questions or concerns during the stay. The location is perfect for hiking and there is always something to see in the surrounding areas. We were very enthusiastic and would definitely come back.

Very nice spacious accommodation, lovingly and thoughtfully furnished, cozy and quiet. Above all, the large living room with open kitchen, which had everything you need for relaxed cooking on vacation, was very inviting. In addition, the sauna for free use and a balcony with afternoon sun have rounded everything off nicely. Once you arrive, you can easily explore the surroundings on foot, you can be in the forest in a few minutes and start hiking or go towards the village and stroll through the spa park to the monastery ruins and eat ice cream in the ice cream cafe. For us with a small child, the nearby playground was also great. Bakers and shops are also within 10-15 minutes' walking distance. The hosts were extremely nice and always easily accessible. When we forgot things on departure, they were sent very nicely and straightforwardly. Thank you again for that. Overall, absolutely recommended for a few nice relaxing days in great surroundings.
