THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite, but nicely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our holiday property (house with 2 apartments with separate entrances) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein, directly on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm of land also invite you to campfire, camping and in winter to toboggan on your own toboggan slope. The house is only a vacation property. So it has no permanent tenants. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask you to be considerate of each other.

Experience a few days of vacation with family or friends! With the two bedrooms and the spacious eat-in kitchen, you have enough space for a few relaxing days in the middle of the Harz. In the light-flooded winter garden, you can recharge with enough warmth before, for example, embarking on an extensive hike through the Bode Valley or visiting one of the beautiful half-timbered towns in the area. In the evening, a joint game evening in front of the crackling fireplace before everyone falls into the soft beds.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Apartment 2 on the Harz in beautiful nature

The apartment is on the upper floor of our vacation home, which was completed in the spring of 2020. The house is located on the outskirts of Bad Harzburg/Westerode district surrounded by fields and meadows overlooking the beautiful Harz Mountains. The transport connection is very good, so you can quickly reach the nearby cities such as Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg or Braunschweig by car or bus and train from Bad Harzburg. Shopping facilities are also available in the village.

Time out on the Bodeufer (nature/sports/climbing)

Located directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and a nature reserve, directly surrounded by river, rocks and a historic hydroelectric power station, you will find a unique accommodation on an extensive area. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. For more active days, a private universal sports field and a summer tent from April to October are available, or you can take advantage of other accommodation offers. We offer you a very well equipped, bright & modern apartment in a quiet location, not far from the Hasseröder Ferienpark with sauna and swimming pool and the Harzer narrow-gauge railway. The apartment has a bright living area. The open kitchen has a dishwasher, fully automatic coffee machine and reclining chair. On the upper floor is the quiet sleeping area. Outside, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace or end the day with a barbecue.

The apartment 37 in the house on the lake (Lange Str. 2 in *contact info removed* staircase) offers a total of 50 m² of living space. Located on the 3rd floor, the apartment has one bedroom and a living area with a full kitchen and dishwasher. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a wardrobe with plenty of storage space. In the living room, the apartment also has an electric fireplace.
