Bookbinder's Retreat is small self-contained studio, situated adjacent to the main house. Whilst in the town, the property has a rural outlook over the Public Gardens, and a secluded feel. I have enjoyed creating the space on a small budget over a long time. Travellers seem to appreciate the craftsman like quirkiness of the space which reflects the town.

Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.

Loved our stay at Granny Grunke's. So much charm! We had everything we needed and there were nice touches like fresh flowers. We arrived in the evening to find the logburner ready to light. Alice even thought to leave a torch in the letterbox in case we arrived after dark. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the linen and decor lovely. A good selection of books and board games. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing little find! So much to do. Stayed here for Christmas and had the best time! Will 100 percent be back in the near future. Possum is an absolute legend! He went out of his way to cut down a Christmas tree and even drove into town to grab decorations for us on arrival! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the amazing views in a comfortable & cozy holiday home. It was so good to find accommodation that is genuinely dog friendly. It is walking distance to the river and beach. We really loved our 4 night stay here and thank you Lisa for sharing your home & being such a great host.

We stayed here for a week and we are so glad we did. Amazing house over looking the ocean. The views were incredible and the beaches a few min walk away. Oamaru is a 15 min drive so plenty to do around the area. The house is huge and very generous size rooms, the kitchen is amazing has everything you will ever need. We will definitely be staying here again great hosts

Our stay here was just the best ever , stunning home , stunning views , exceptional decor , amenities top notch , so so clean , this house has everything you need. I was there for my 60th B-day and i felt like i had hit the jackpot! My guests along with myself want to go back again and im sure we will. I don't think 5 stars is a high enough rating 10 out of 10 for us.

Tanya’s place was much bigger than expected. Kitchen comes well equipped and place is very clean and comfortable. Huge driveway which allow many cars to be parked. The only downside is that if more than 1 shower is used concurrently, the hot water will be intermittent. Will recommend
