My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, scientists (Oak Ridge National Lab is 3 /12 miles away), and fishermen (lake is close). We are located just 5 miles from historic Oak Ridge. Stoney Haven is just 2 1/2 miles from Hardin Valley Rd. where you will find eating places, unique stores, and Pellissippi State Community College. If you are into major shopping, Turkey Creek is only 8.4 miles away. 3 1/2 miles away is the Univ. of TN Arboretum. There you will find unique plants and trails.

What began as "hey let's list part of our house on Airbnb", ended up in a full remodel and enlisting the assistance of a professional decorator to create a guest suite in the daylight basement that we now like better than our main house! A wonderful little cabin built around energy efficiency. It's a single bedroom cabin with a queen bed and couch for up to 3 people. The place is very private and has a porch to appreciate the outdoors. The cabin is heated with either a small EPA approved wood stove or propane heater. The stairs within the house are steep and best suited for able bodied individuals. Located between downtown Knoxville and TYS airport, <20 mins from each.
