House vacation rentals in Oak Bay

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

We really loved the quietness and peacefulness of the place. The layout of the house was awesome. The entertainment was top notch. We even used the gym . I would definitely recommend this place if you are with a group of friends or family gathering!

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

Arbutus House is set in a pristine and beautiful location on Pender Island, overlooking the water with expansive and well maintained private gardens. The house is full of character and is clean and filled with natural light. Our host, Budd, was extremely responsive and helpful and took care of all of our needs. We would definitely return to this location and recommend it to our friends.

Matt and Lina’s place was truly an oasis. The seven of us were so comfortable and enjoyed the pool/ hot tub and sauna time. Matt and Lina were fantastic to communicate with. We would highly recommend staying here if you love the peacefulness and privacy of the forest with ALL the amenities.

We were 2 couples visiting the province for a family gathering. This place was absolutely perfect for us! Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated homes. The gardens are gorgeous and we grew attached to all the lovely animals outside the front door! The rural setting was close to all the urban places we visited....and we enjoyed getting to know the surrounding area. Krista was responsive and helpful....and gave us lots of great tips! This is the best airbnb experience we have ever had!

Bowen's place was very beautiful, though slightly dated. We highly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen had basic amenities including coffee, coffee supplies, wine glasses, etc, so we were happy. Bowen was very responsive when we needed anything, and we appreciated his quick communication. There's a shopping center within walking distance, and lots of beautiful trails near the house that were fun to explore. The bedrooms were a bit bright for our liking, and the mattresses a tad hard for our stiff backs but overall it was wonderful and we would stay there again.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

We loved our stay at Dan Sam’s place. It’s a good combination of comfort, coziness and gorgeous view. Just the view itself worth the price!

The location was perfect for our needs and the place was spotless throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described and check-in was smooth. Would definitely recommend to other travelers looking for a clean, well-located place to stay.

It was a wonderful place to stay! I stayed here while at a conference in Victoria. It was a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet place. I enjoyed staying there and I could easily bike to the conference and restaurants downtown. It was also very close to some bike trails for longer bike rides and the neighborhood was stunningly beautiful and quiet.

One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in! Super comfortable and clean. Scott has thought of everything you may need and is very welcoming. We highly recommend his suite.

Very clean and well equipped. The bathroom and shower are great. The kitchen has everything you’d need. Very good laundry facilities Location very quiet. No lake view but one minute walk up the road you get to the lake, the beach isn’t really big enough to sit on. We tried different routes into Victoria and preferred the smaller roads as more interesting and quieter. Very good place to stay.

Jenna's home was a nice quiet place in a safe neighborhood for us to unwind after a long day of training at UVIC (about 30 min drive away). We were greeted with snacks upon arrival and check in/out was very easy! We also appreciated the extra cot she provided - would recommend for anyone traveling in the Victoria area by car 🙂

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

We loved our stay at Emily's place. It was very close to Victoria, which is great for sight seeing, but in a small town area. I loved the neighbourhood and found it very charming. Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It felt luxurious and homey all at the same time. Hosts have done an incredible job with this home and we found everything to be above and beyond our expectations. Peaceful, quiet back yard, super fun bbq, and well located to many of Victoria’s offerings. Whole Foods just a few minutes drive away. Extremely beautiful and well appointed kitchen, bedroom layout was ideal and beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend!

Great location, lovely place to stay. The treats left by the host were very much appreciated. Lovely bathroom and very roomy. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Zoe’s place in Mill Bay. Everything was clean and comfortable and we immediately felt at home. We really appreciated the fabulous deck where we sat at the end of each day sipping wine and recounting the day’s adventures. The directions were bang on and the home was easy to find. The driveway was large enough for our two vehicles which was nice. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are in the Mill Bay area.

We had a wonderful stay at Donovan's cabin. It was perfect for our family get-together (8 adults and 2 small children). The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, we loved the close proximity to hiking and other nature nearby (ie. East Sooke Regional Park). Donovan was super communicative and responsive to any questions. Thank you!

Wow, we really enjoyed our stay! The location is beautiful, and we loved the home (lots of room for our family to spread out). We also appreciated Brent’s recommendations for activities in the area. We would absolutely return for another visit!

Great stay at Karan’s house. We found and accessed the house easily in a nice quiet area. Beautiful views. All the appliances worked in the kitchen. Slept well. Karan was quick to respond to our questions. Would happily recommend to others.
