Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nydri

We had a wonderful stay at Konstantinos & Niki’s place. It surpassed our expectations - the pictures don’t do the space justice! A perfect place for friends or family to hangout as there is plenty of room, with many communal areas to use. The pool and outside kitchen area were our favourites. We were also impressed with the quality and amount of the kitchen items available and the white goods. Niki was so helpful and always responsive if we needed her and gave some great recommendations for restaurants etc. Thank you again.

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Nicht nur die ruhige, aber dennoch zentrale Lage haben überzeugt, sondern auch die überragende Gastfreundschaft. Da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, konnte wir die gesamte Anlage nutzen. Dimitris hat uns sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants gegeben und war sofort zur Stelle, wenn es ein kleines Problem gab. Das Abschiedsgeschenk, das wir am Abreisetag erhalten hatten, war eine rührende Überraschung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses Apartment uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Hervorragend ausgestattete, private Villa am Rande von Lefkas gelegen mit wunderschönem Blick über das Meer. Maria hat uns einen frühen Check-In ermöglicht und war für uns jederzeit gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Die Villa ist äußerst sauber, zudem ist die Küche voll ausgestattet (Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Raclette-Gerät, Öl, Pfeffer, Salz, Utensilien zum Putzen), ein großes Plus ist die Außenküche, die ebenfalls hervorragend ausgestattet ist. Ein Gasgrill ist vorhanden. Der am Abend beleuchtete Salzwasserpool hat uns sehr gut gefallen, dieser wird jeden Morgen gereinigt, außerdem sind ausreichend Liege- und Sitzmöglichkeiten für einen warmen Sommertag vorhanden. Zwischendurch wurden sogar unsere Handtücher ausgetauscht. Der Blick über Lefkas und über das Meer ist unschlagbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden einen Aufenthalt bei Maria und George uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

We had a fantastic time staying at the Ionion Diamond Villa in Mikros Gialos which was our first time staying on the island of Lefkas. The property was beautiful in a fantastic location overlooking the bay with everything we needed provided for, we especially enjoyed the infinity pool with it’s views! Alexandra was a fantastic host who was living next door so the check-in process was a lot easier than we realised (some places we are used to just a key safe!). She provided really good advice on the local area and the wider island which was really helpful to make the most of our holiday. It was great to be able to take the short 10 mins walk down into the village to the local supermarkets and restaurants (would recommend The Molos and Zolithros restaurants). Local beach was lovely too (pebbles but great water) Lefkas as an island was lovely but very busy in peak summer period with the number of visitors, we would return but probably at a quieter time so to enjoy more of the island

It was a perfect stay, the house is beautiful, clean and the view is amazing! You have the pool jacuzzi, ect! You can stay only up at the house if you want! A place you want yo come back

We spent a wonderful week at Urania’s Luxury Villas on Lefkada – two adults and three children – and were truly amazed from the very first moment. The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view of the sea. A beautiful walk leads to a small private beach – a real highlight. The villa itself is a dream: tastefully furnished, perfectly equipped, and filled with loving attention to detail. You can truly feel the special energy of this place – calming, inspiring, and simply unique. Urania is an exceptional host. Always available, warm, and thoughtful – yet never intrusive. Our children had the joy of painting Easter eggs and baking crêpes with her – an unforgettable experience for all of us. We will definitely be back. Thank you for letting us experience this magical place!

We had a lovely stay at this home! It’s wonderfully located at the end of a long bump track, close enough to Sivota for dinner, drinks and ice cream. Definitely need a car to get around but once you’re at the house you have a stunning infinity pool, a private path down to the sea and a hot tub. It’s quiet, calm and has a lot of character. Make sure to get a food, coffee and wine shop before you arrive with all the essentials. We’d love to come back again! Our second time in Sivota and this was a brilliant base. We were 4 adults and 4 children / babies!

Wir hatten uns für die Villa entschieden und die Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen! Der Ausblick auf den Pool, die grüne Landschaft rundherum und das Meer waren atemberaubend. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt und die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht. Die vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten haben die tollen Ausblicke jedesmal anders wirken lassen. Der Garten war unglaublich schön und man hat am Pool die Möglichkeit mit dem Liegestuhl im Schatten unter einem Baum zu liegen, ein wahrer Traum. Giannis ist ein toller Gastgeber, die Kommunikation war immer sehr schnell und wir haben tolle Tips zum Essen und für die Strände bekommen. Alle 3 Tage gab es einen Bettwäsche und Handtuchwechsel und er hatte zwischendurch immer Mal wieder gefragt ob wir etwas benötigen. Einfach entspannt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

An absolutely delightful wooden house surrounded by greenery and quietness, filled with loving details and generous outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. Jim and Eva have been wonderful hosts who made us feel like family. We can't wait to be back and would rate our stay with 6 stars if Airbnb would allow it.

Náš skoro měsíční pobyt zde byl naprosto skvělý. Skvělá hostitelka, krásný dům a zahrada, výborná lokalita pro objevování ostrova. Ještě jednou mnohokrát děkujeme. :)

Een ontzettend fijne plek. We kwamen erg laat aan en zelfs nog vertraging maar dit was totaal geen probleem. Telefonisch contact gehad en Chris kwam ons snel uitleggen en ons naar binnen begeleiden zodat we onze dochter op bed konden leggen. Het was erg schoon en het privé zwembad was super. Nu was toevallig de tweede villa niet verhuurd dus nog meer privacy maar ook als dat wel zou zijn heb je genoeg privacy. Tip voor het eiland: Huur een auto. Het huisje is een perfect punt om vanuit daar alle kanten op te kunnen. Enige tip is wat meer theedoeken en vaatdoeken voor de keuken.

Η Χριστίνα και ο Σταύρος ήταν πάρα πολύ ευγενικοί, πρόσχαροι και επικοινωνιακοί, αισθανθήκαμε σαν να πήγαμε σε συγγενείς μας. Το περιβάλλον ήταν πεντακάθαρο, σε 10 βήματα βρισκόσουν στο πιο ειδυλλιακό σημείο της Λυγιάς Λευκάδος με εξαιρετικές επιλογές για να χαλαρώσεις, να φας καλά και να κολυμπήσεις. Με βεβαιότητα θα είναι η πρώτη μας επιλογή όταν ξανά επισκεφθούμε τη Λευκάδα!!!

The villa is set in a very peaceful setting but it is not isolated with lovely places to eat just a couple of minutes walk away and opposite a place where you could hire bikes and water activities equipment as well as go for a drink, play pool and board games and swim in their larger beautiful pool. Having this across the street was a real bonus as we could go for a drink after eating and we had a lot of fun with the people that run the bar and the locals that also go there most nights. The villa is ideal for families and Nikos was always responsive to anything we asked with lots of recommendations for places to go, beaches, restaurants and anything else we asked about. The villa is very well equipped and he even supplied insect repellent tablets and things to burn outside. Overall I would really recommend this accommodation.

Schöne Aussicht bis hinaus über das Meer , wenig Lärm von der Straße, eher still. Toller jeden Tag Zimmer Service. Super Restaurant von der Besitzerin um die Ecke. Rundum hervorragend nur WLAN funktionierte nur vor der Tür. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Amazing house with nice garden, roofed bbq area and small private beach. Equiped with everything you need. Everything is clean and as described. Beds are comfortable. Supermarket and really nice fish taverna reachable in about 10 minutes by foot. Dimitrios and his parents really are amazing hosts. They were very helpful in every way and even prepared food for us. Very hopitable without ever being intrusive. I can absolutely recommend this place as for me that was the best airbnb experience I have had so far to be honest.

Lovely apartment with great views of the harbour. Perfectly located for restaurants and shops

Our stay was fabulous and the villa exceeded our expectations with a wonderful pool and an ample sized terrace. Daphne was amazing and went above and beyond to help with all our requests. However if you are not great with walking up and down steps, of which there are 140! the path down to the harbour is a little challenging so we had to resort to hiring a car as we are 3 mature ladies!! The car rental was beautifully organised by Daphne with no problems at all. We had an amazing week and will definitely book the villa again.

We wanted to see how Lefkada looked in winter, so we rented Kostantinos’s villa. We loved it because it allows pets, has central heating, is spacious, and has a beautiful garden. We loved our stay there also because it was very quiet and relaxing.

Had a great week @ the Ionian Nest, the accommodation was as per the listing, very clean with good linens & furnishing, well stocked kitchen, plenty of crockery pans etc. Quiet setting, 14 units & only a handful occupied so was quiet, pool area was quiet. Lovely balcony area. Really good well stocked supermarket 5 minute walk away. There are 2 restaurants locally, one by supermarket at the top of the road & Koutavos Taverna down the hill 5/10 minute walk. Both very good value with reasonable choice menu. Beach is just a couple of minutes walk, pebble beach with lovely clear water (no one else there when we went 😊) I would personally say a car is a must unless you just want a chill out holiday on the complex. Palairos has a lovely sea front area with lots of restaurants < 10 mins in the car. Susannah kindly arranged a taxi for us one evening. Worth a drive to Lefkada good place to visit with plenty of coffee bars & restaurants. Would recommended a stay & would book again.

Excellent, comfy villa with an amazing view. We really enjoyed our week; the villa is spacious and comfortable, with a large comfy bed, good sized bathroom with a powerful shower, and comfy sitting room/kitchen area. The terrace (with pool) is exceptional, with an amazing expansive view across the bay in front of Vasiliki. Plenty of room for lounging in the sun, and sundowner workouts. The villa was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was equipped to do us a couple of evening meals when we didn’t fancy going out. Great location for exploring Lefkada island; plenty of the best beaches on the island within an easy 15-30 minute drive. Also an easy 5 minute drive into Vasiliki itself, which has plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets. The host Therodorus and George were very helpful and courteous. Note a car is essential, as it’s a fairly steep 10-15 minute walk into town. Tip for drivers: steep drive in first gear up to the house. Overall: highly recommended!

We couldn't have hoped for more! Spyridoula made us feel very welcome. She was helpful, friendly and accomodating. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable.. beds were super-comfortable. Waking up to that view was incredible...we will be back!

I would strongly recommend Nema Villas. Nema Villa 1 is in a beautiful location, with beautiful views across the bay and mountains, with a five minute walk down steps to get to the sea. It is remote enough to be quiet and private, but close enough to Katomeri, Fanari and Atherinos to be near the action (land transport recommended - the quad bikes were perfect). The house is lovely with a great terrace and pool, and great aircon. Efi was exceptionally helpful and friendly, as well as professional and responsive. When we wanted a BBQ, one was delivered very quickly, and checkout was flexible.

Nadia was an amazing host. She was easy to communicate with and the check in and out process was very easy. The place was incredible and everything was spotless. I would highly recommend this place an o hope to return soon.
