Great Ayton TS96HY. The Yorkshireman is situated in a Quiet and restful position close to the hills for walks. Clean and comfortable, the Shepherds Hut is near to Great Ayton, the childhood home of Captain Cook, with lovely tea rooms and friendly villagers. It's a 10 minutes drive is the North Yorkshire Moors gateway which will lead you to Whitby. (Our apologies but with a heavy heart we decided not to allow dogs as it is such a small space and we have to consider other guests allergies 🤧)

Riverside guest annexe is in a secluded garden but is within 50m of Waterfall Park and Great Ayton High Green, with its shops, pubs, cafes, take-aways and Tourist Information. The annexe is attached to our house, but has its own entrance, patio, garden area and parking space. We can accommodate 2 adults comfortably, plus a third adult or up to 2 children on our pull-out and/or sofa bed. We provide bedding, towels and toiletries. No smoking or pets are permitted in the annexe.

This was the perfect base from which to visit my family and do some walking in the surrounding countryside. The property was beautifully clean, well equipped and peaceful, with a lovely view across the garden and with ample parking space on the drive. The owner, Jan was very friendly and welcoming and I really appreciated all the extra touches she had provided, such as croissants for breakfast, butter and milk. The property is located close to the picturesque Roseberry Topping and within easy walking distance of Great Ayton village, which has some lovely cafes and shops. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay there again.

A lovely family cottage, in beautiful settings. We took the advise of our host, and walked up Roseberry hill. Well worth the trek. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and Paul was close by if we needed anything.

Beautiful house very clean and free of clutter great location, parking outside the properly. Great to access local cafes and shops, the Buck pub serving lovely food only a short walk from the home. The Penthouse was perfectly suited to our needs and local to where I needed to be. The decor is funky and fantastic and had everything we needed. The space is massive and goes on forever! Gorgeous huge bath and everything you'd need in the kitchen. The shower in the ensuite was fantastic.
