In front of the bungalow, in the beautifully landscaped garden, there is a cozy gazebo with seating in a lawn, which invites you to linger, extensive breakfast outdoors and barbecue evenings.

Swimming lakes, cycling and hiking trails, as well as the old towns of Krakow am See, Güstrow, and Plau am See are nearby. The Broockhof isn’t a typical holiday spot by the lake. It’s a place for people who are looking for nature, space, and a slower pace.

The unique natural landscape is very impressive and offers beautiful views of the Plauer. The nearest town is Alt Schwerin. It is a small village and has an agricultural museum, a shopping oasis with a bakery, restaurants and a jetty for steamboat trips, which can also be easily explored by bike.

We rent a cozy 40 sqm apartment on the western outskirts of Malchow (Meckl.). It is an ideal base for exploring the Mecklenburg Lake District. For this purpose, two 28-inch bicycles with coaster brakes are also available if needed. Shopping and sports facilities, a cinema and a swimming area are 300 meters away. There is currently still a daily tourist tax of 1.50/2.00 euros per person.
