This is an unexpected treasure in a fascinating, historic area of Norwich. The house has lots of character and is tucked away down a quiet pedestrian alleyway. It’s a few minutes’ walk from most central areas so very well situated and a stone’s throw from the river. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely holiday home next to Southwold

VashtiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Me and my two boys (age 10 and 12) loved staying at Amy's home. She was lovely from the start - it was a last minute booking as our original Air Bnb booking sadly fell through so we were a bit stuck.... Amy saved the day and we were able to check in a little earlier which was very helpful having had a long journey and lots of bags! Being there without a car was no problem - there is a beautiful walk into Southwold through a gorgeous lane through the marshes... it takes 15 minutes to walk to the Pier which was perfect to send my boys off on their own.... and I enjoyed getting there early for sunrise too. The house is homely, light and clean. Comfortable beds and lovely towels. Friendly neighbours. The garden is a small sun trap too. We ended up booking two extra nights as I didn't want to leave, Would definitely stay again. Stayed 5 nights in total. Great place! Thank you Amy!!!!

This property is in a perfect location- two great pubs nearby - we would in particular mention the quality of food at the Hanser. HistoricTown House Exclusive useDesign - G Skipper

PaulRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Lovely, historic house within walking distance of the city centre. Some nice architectural features on show with lots of rooms beyond the three good-sized bedrooms - plenty of space to relax in. Lovely pool, kitchen and dining area and more garden around the side of the property which you might otherwise overlook. A quiet, residential location yet it’s only a short walk to the local shops and barely a mile to the city centre. Jane was awfully responsive and very helpful. Would definitely recommend should you want a nice place in Norwich (and did we mention the pool?!)

The Pilchard by Big Skies Cottages

EdwardRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Perfect stay for a multi generation family, lots of space for everyone and good for young kids too. Having stayed in wells before I would say this is the best place given the size of the house, parking for two cars but still walkable to the beach, town etc. Wells is a brilliant place for kids, and you can actually see the amazing playground from the property. We will certainly stay here again when we inevitably return. Only thing I would say about the property is that it doesn’t include towels - only a small issue but would be better to have them included.
