The Clockhouse

The Clockhouse, built in 1904, is a beautifully situated cosy retreat in the lovely village of Overstrand. The village boasts a good pub, a thriving Arts Centre and hundreds of yards of golden sand which is one of the best beaches in East Anglia. The cottage is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. The cheap nightly price is because we have not finished rendering the outside of the cottage and we do not have a washing machine yet. Only 500 yards to the beach! Towels & Linen Inc

It is a very short walk away from Weybourne beach, The Ship Inn, The Maltings hotel and our village cafe and shop. Close by is the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, the coastal town of Sheringham and Sheringham Park. We are located just off the North Norfolk coast road, very convenient for Blakeney, Cromer, Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. For a holiday to North Norfolk this is the perfect location!

Only a 3 minute walk to the train station, and good amenities close by.

The Gables Cottage is a lovely place to have a little break and explore Norfolk’s beautiful countryside. Our cottage has recently been renovated and refreshed. There is a new super king Relyon bed and mattress, new shower, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. Our location is very convenient being quite close to Norwich, broads and the stunning seaside. The property dates from the 1800s and whilst it now has all the nice bits you would expect, we have retained original features like exposed beams, old bread maker and copper boiler.
