Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Vietnam

The house by the bamboo forest in Tả Van is a place I always want to return to whenever I need rest and a reset. This season, the roses in the garden are in full bloom, and the village is incredibly beautiful the locals have started planting rice during the water-pouring season, turning the valley into a stunning mirror of the sky. The house is lovingly cared for by Sen and the housekeeper, and every morning, a chef comes over to prepare delicious meals. I truly enjoy staying here this is already my second time, and I’m sure I’ll bring my family back for another stay in the future.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The house has so much character-each floor leading up to the top felt like it had its own story to tell, with thoughtful little details and beautiful visuals everywhere. It felt like stepping into a movie set, but in the most natural, lived-in way. Our room on the top floor was peaceful, clean, and really well taken care of. Lan was amazing she wasn’t just a host, she felt like a friend. Always kind, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. When we had an emergency, even the owner came in person to help and acted quickly. That kind of care really stood out. I’d 100% stay here again if I come back to Vietnam. It’s a special place, and I’m grateful we found it.

This place is wonderful! So much space for what you pay and it’s an easy walk to train street. The coffee/wine shop on the first floor is lovely and all the employees were sweet and welcoming.

Lovely stay here at Veque! Apartment was clean and matched the description. Lan, our host did a phenomenal job at easing us into our accommodation. She was always prompt in her replies and would go above and beyond in ensuring our stay was comfortable and our needs/requests were met. She also allowed us to store our luggage in the building after check out as well. Exceptionally pleasant place to stay, would recommend!

Beautiful interior, very convenient location in the middle of Old Quarter. Quiet and insulated from the noise of the main street because it is further inside the building complex. Host was helpful and responsive.

Absolutely loved the stay!! Perfect location, amazing small apartment with great and very thoughtful additional features. The outdoor area was so well done and thought out and the bedroom/bathroom/kitchenette area was so clean and comfy! Absolute top spot location perfect bath with a view utilised it everyday. Clean and tidy even managed to cook a meal. They were so helpful with providing some chairs for the balcony lovely to sit there in the morning and watch the lake and enjoy a coffee from the many shops around. Handy to the most amazing street food and mini mart up the alley. Bed not quite big enough as my husband is rather tall. Wud recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful place, truly showing the history of Hanoi

This place is amazing! Beautiful, super homey, exactly in the photos, fast wifi and gives everything I need during my stay. Has small balcony where I can sit and relax when the weather is nice. Located in an old apartment building on third floor, but it’s not too hard to go to the room. Also, the host, Lan, helps me with my luggage to take it to the room. The host is super helpful, communicative, and proactive. Location right in the old quarter, near some good restaurants and coffee shops! Would love to come back next time!

One of the few AirBnb places that looks exactly like the pictures! This was a really beautiful apartment with full amenities, fast wifi, strong A/C, and even a washer and dryer (which is a rare find in Vietnam). Really a joy to stay here and the host is super responsive and friendly.

Ấn tượng đầu tiên là tính hiếu khách của chủ nhà. Ms Chi rất thân thiện, luôn sẵn sàng giải đáp các thắc mắc cũng như hỗ trợ tôi khi có vấn đề này sinh hoặc yêu cầu sử dụng dịch vụ lân cận. Ấn tượng tiếp theo là phòng ốc. Tất cả các tiện nghi đều giống như mô tả, sạch sẽ, đầy đủ. Chỉ vài bước chân từ phòng là ra đến biển, vô cùng tiện lợi. Và cuối cùng là giá phòng cũng như giá các dịch vụ lân cận đi kèm là rất hợp lí. Một chuyến đi quá hoàn hảo! Nhất định tôi sẽ trở lại và giới thiệu cho bạn bè của tôi khi có kế hoạch đến với Hạ Long! quả thật đây là lần đầu tiên tôi quar thaatj thật sự tôi có ấn tượng mạnh mẽ với dịch vụ phòng lần này trên AirBnB

The apartment location in Tay Ho area is really good because you have lots of restaurants around, supermarkets…. The apartment was nice and clean. Linh (the host) was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our stay there.

Tuan’s apartment is an absolute gem - brand new, spotless, and beautifully designed. It’s comfortable, practical, and feels incredibly cozy - we felt at home right away. Tuan is a model host: he responds quickly, is always helpful, and actively suggests great local experiences. The Japanese-style neighborhood is stunning and peaceful - perfect for relaxing walks. Nearby, you’ll find the Mori Onsen complex with hot springs, massage salons, a swimming pool, and a gym - everything you need to take care of both body and mind. There are also plenty of delicious restaurants around, and getting to Hanoi is very easy. Highly recommended - a solid 10/10!

Hang's place was nothing short of amazing, from the check in to helping us set up our tours it was all perfect. The photos matched the place, and in my opinion it was even better than the photos. it was so comfortable and relaxing. The beds are a firmer than the average bed so do keep that in mind if you prefer soft, sink-in beds. But honestly, it was still very comfortable for me. Both hosts are truly amazing and wonderful, always responsive, helped us booked a tour to Ninh Binh which in my opinion is going above and beyond. Helped us with Taxi drivers, locsl recommendations etc We never got to try the Onsen or the pool due to a very busy schedule but it looked extremely nice and I saw people always going to it. The bathroom amenities were fully stocked, and good onsite restaurants/convenience stores, theres a Gym as well! Overall the place was amazing, and we definitely would book again! Team mình đi 6 người, cực kì hài lòng về sự tiện nghi của căn hộ. Mọi thứ sạch sẽ, đầy đủ như ở nhà từ những thứ nhỏ nhất. Decor tinh tế, sang trọng nhưng vẫn rất ấm cúng. View từ ban công ngắm hoàng hôn cực kì chill, quay timelapse cực đỉnh. Chủ nhà chắc chắn là người chỉn chủ đến từng chi tiết trong nhà, mọi điểm chạm trải nghiệm khách hàng rất tinh tế và chuyên nghiệp. Vị trí rất trung tâm.

I loved my 1st stay at Andy’s Airbnb. Andy was very hospitable, nice, answered all my questions and even waited for my late arrival. I greatly appreciate his help in Hanoi and for his place. Thank you Andy!!!
