Family-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Vietnam

Gorgeous stay, I’d definitely recommend for anyone who wants their own private accom in Hanoi. I didn’t spend a lot of time at the place since I was mostly out exploring, however the place was set up to accommodate your own cooking if you wanted to. And the one night I stayed in with the balcony bath was highly relaxing and exactly what I needed. Vivian was super helpful and communicative, which made the stay a lot easier. As well as helping organise things like airport transfers. This added a lot of ease to my trip. Ultimately, would stay here again.

The hosts were very accommodating and responsive, especially when we had questions and concerns. The location is also accessible ane convenient, as the tourist spots, restaurants, and shopping areas are nearby. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here!

Spent few days at Loc Homestay and really love this place . It felt like home!! This place was so cool when we first walked in when the outside temperature was 100 *F . Host was so friendly , answered all the questions and on top of that , she let us check in super early !! Will definitely recommend this place !!!

It is easy to walk around in the Midding area. It's a vacant lot right in front of you, but it's not noisy. If Midding is Korean town, this place across the street has a little more local feel. It has everything you need. The bed was clean and the kitchen utensils were all well equipped. The cooling worked well. It wasn't luxurious, but it was perfect for the price. Thank you.

We stayed at Thao’s place for almost 3 weeks and it truly felt like home away from home. So sad to leave! The apartment is super spacious and nicely decorated. There are 3 balconies to choose from and a gorgeous rooftop! It is bright and clean and you rarely hear the noise from the street or neighbours. Location is great - away from the madness of the old town but easily walkable. The local area has great restaurants and cafes too. This apartment would be perfect for a short or a long stay. Thao goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. She is kind, responsive and helpful. Truly an incredible host. We will definitely be back should we return to Hanoi. Thank you so much!

Limh place is lovely located on edge of lake and end of line so no neighbour on one side. Pool is also nearby with fantastic view. Kids loved the park and its activities.

I recently stayed at an apartment in Hanoi that was conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant sights and attractions. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. A highlight was definitely the rooftop terrace, which offered a great space to relax and enjoy the view over the city skyline, especially during sunset. The area was also fairly quiet considering its central location, making it a nice escape from the city's hustle and bustle. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a balance between accessibility and comfort in Hanoi!

This place is really nice. Our check in time was 2:00 pm but our bus from Sapa to Ha long Bay bus arrived around 5:30 am and the host arranged us to stay starting from 9 am , actually the check in time is 2:00 pm . In addition, she showed the restaurants around the house. We stayed at this place two nights three days and on that first day, the electricity went out due to repairing underground electrical process( government did it and it is not fault of the host) but the host didn’t take fees for that day and also she asked us to stay hotel . She is really kind and friendly .

Perfect stay in a wonderful place, couldn't be better.

First of all, the house is a bit old compared to the picture but not smelly. The toilet doesn't smell like cockroaches or anything. The home also didn't have a single ant. Not sure how you host do the pipe system with deodorizing. Your host responded quickly. The check in process is also very easy, get keys from the security guard below and just go to the room. To get the elevator, you need a card and a card, each room can only get 1, the key to the room is 2. So to go upstairs, we or our family members have to ask security to press if going separately. The security guard is extremely friendly, so every time, it is very comfortable. Fully furnished house. Cool air conditioning. The bathroom has hot water, towels, shower gel and shampoo all the way. The place is just too high. Around the whole restaurant, coffee, eatery. All kinds of segments, to yes, casual. It's about 5 minutes to the small market. At the end of the street, there is Vincom, watching movies, shopping is also convenient.

Great stay. The pictures are a bit older than the current state of the apartment; however, it was clean and equipped with the essentials :) Location is a bit outside the city so if you like the calm it is a good place.

Breathtaking beauty, both houses and landscape! And absolutely delicious food too! This is the stuff of ‘best holiday memories’!

Had a longer stay of 30 days planned in Sapa starting beginning of February. I‘ve shorted my stay to about 5 days, as it was quite cold and foggy. Scott was so kind as to refund the whole stay, even though the Airbnb terms and conditions said there was no fund available. I very much appreciate this kind gesture and that surely speaks for itself! Moreover, the communication was very kind and Scott was very responsive. When it comes to friendliness, and communication, everything was superb. As someone who requires fast and steady internet access, I was displeased to find that the internet did not offer that. It would break at times during calls while I was a guest at Scotts airbnb. Reportedly there was a temporary internet problem as a cable was broken or so, so this may be different in the future. The kuti was very simplistic and cozy and had a good vibe. The host was very kind and spoke good english. Hikes and nature all around. Its a cozy place for a short term stay in sapa!

We had a great time there - it was basically the best way to end our time in Vietnam. Truong's place is right next to the Westlake, a nice and peaceful neighbourhood. There are lots of nice cafes within a minute walking distance and also local restaurants around. We had a very late check-in (after mid-night), but Truong was so nice coming around and introducing us to his apartment. Thanks a lot! We definitely recommend this place!

I had the best time at Mai's home, ideally located up in the valley where the region gets the prettier, you will get to enjoy a cosy place to stay and a warm welcome from the family. Mai was really proactive in helping to get to the house, which can be tricky on your own, but it was the best place to go on hikes for the day and coming back felt like a haven. If you are looking for a getaway from the agitation, to have a rest to the sounds of nature, here is your go.

The place is beautiful and the room was spotless and clean, the staff were super helpful. However it is a little further away from everything but luckily you can rent scooters from them !!

Enthusiastic host. Nice. Clean house. What's in the house is also best for you who are addicted to kitchenware and utensils like us. Comfortable blankets and a sofa. The corner with objects in the house can live virtual anywhere😍. Walking down is the mall. Along both sides of the road, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious. I find it a great fit for business travelers or a large team. Compared to the types of apartments in Hanoi, I find it the best here. Super utility.

Vans place is an exellent and luksurious apartment. We really enjoyed our stay specially my kids with the rooftop pool in hot Hanoi. We would recomment Vans place anytime.

Beautiful scenery! Definitely "rustic". A part of the "homestay" meaning constantly able to get meals/recommendations/play with the local pets, but still tons of privacy. thanks so much for the warm welcome!!

Very nice place as advertised. Nice lake view, and a lot of hotel amenities like bars, pools, golf, ping pong and pool tables. About 20 minutes from old town.

the entrance is located in behind of building so it is difficult to find a little bit. but when you enter it, it is gorgeous place and very comfortable
