Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Northern Rivers

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Hilltop Retreat this week for us and our two dogs. A very tranquil and picturesque experience in the Scenic Rim. The house is very clean, tidy and well equipped with everything you need to make it feel like home. A very short drive to town and to the fantastic Golf Resort. We will recommend to everyone and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for my 40th and it was absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful and peaceful, tucked right next to a creek that made the whole experience feel extra special. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy throughout our stay, and it was such a treat to unwind in such a serene setting. The hosts were fantastic—super helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. You can tell they really care about making sure their guests have a great time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature! 🌿🔥

This was such a great spot for an unwind and reset. We were celebrating a very important milestone of 5 years cancer free. We didn't have much time so could only stay a couple nights but we emersed our self in the serenity of the place and disconnected. The birds were such a treat. Even though it rained most of the time it didn't put a damper on the weekend. My only recommendations would be an outdoor heater and a coat hook :) Thnaks again

The house is ideal for a family group or group of friends as it is very comfortable and has a really well equipped kitchen, plenty of living space and fabulous views. Very quiet too. Nice and warm with the heaters going. Great walks in binnaburra only a short drive away.

Leah’s house was beyond beautiful – it felt like we had been transported to a Balinese tropical paradise! We stayed for the weekend with family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and we didn’t want to leave the house – it was that stunning. Every single corner was thoughtfully and immaculately decorated, from the unique statement lamps to the incredible art pieces throughout the home. The attention to detail was unmatched. The outdoor pool and shower were absolute highlights – so serene and luxurious! This place is a true gem. We loved everything about it and would come back in a heartbeat. We had the best weekend at the property. Katherine was incredibly helpful and responsive. This is the most beautiful home and we used it for staying nearby a wedding of our friends over the weekend and it was perfect for a relaxing retreat for us and our friends. Absolutely Stunning Stay! We had an amazing holiday at this beautifully presented Airbnb. The apartment featured modern fixtures and a clean, stylish design that made our stay feel both luxurious and comfortable. The highlight was definitely the incredible beachfront view - waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunrise from the balcony was unforgettable. The location is also incredibly convenient, just a short walk to shops, cafes, and everything you need. A special mention to our host, Yogi, who was fantastic throughout - communication was clear, friendly, and responsive, which made everything so easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay - highly recommend and would love to return!

The views are incredible, you can see the city in one direction and the Gold Coast high rises in another plus all the beautiful scenery in between. You feel like you are on top of the world. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The apartment is very well equipped, clean, tidy and comfortable. Hayden’s instructions were spot on. Highly recommend.

Beautifully presented accommodation, perfect for a quite beach getaway. Location overlooking the sand dunes and surf was magical. We were able to walk everywhere…. Wooli Wooli Cafe for great coffee, the bowls club for yummy Chinese dinner and the Wooli Boat hire for a couple of hours cruising Wooli Wooli River. We felt very at home in your gorgeous beach getaway Sally. We look forward to visiting again soon.

We found the Luxe apartment suited us perfectly. It was clean, had all we needed, and Vanessa was great to deal with. We found plenty of food options nearby - and we could walk to People’s First Stadium (as we came over for a sporting event).

Great location could walk to so many attractions and food places, so close to Cole’s. Amazing pool and spar facilities. Was nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine. The parking spot being included saved us so much money.

An amazing place to book a getaway. Brad was fantastic and helpful to deal with all the way through. His place was incredibly spotless upon walking in. The apartment is incredibly airy and open, with beautiful views of the water - exactly as seen in the photos. The location is also perfect - quiet enough to have blissful silence and peace away from the CBD, but also close enough to get there when needed. Overall a fantastic experience with the only regret being not staying longer!

Beautiful and peaceful location with an incredible view. Paul’s home is very well stocked and has everything you need for your stay. The large kitchen makes it easy to cook up a feast for your big groups. Bedrooms and amenities were comfortable (great to have a dog friendly option). Thank you for hosting us!

very clean and fresh inside out. close to everything but in a quite street with all the amenities you need. kids loved going to budds beach which is 50meters away! absolutely worth it. 5 stars.

Booked this AirBnb due to close proximity to our wedding venue. Groom and groomsmen stayed here the night prior to the wedding. I did not read the listing correctly and was unaware the the sleeping arrangement is one large bedroom with multiple beds, dorm style! Whoops. This was written on the listing however may need to be made clearer. The house and grounds itself was lovely and beautiful views.

We absolutely loved this place. Its set in a lovely tranquil setting in the wilderness with spectacular views of the mountains. The fitout of our retreat is modern and well planned and set out. The kitchen was fully functional, bed extremely comfortable with a beautiful deck looking out across the mountains which made the experience all the more relaxing. Graham was wonderful and accommodating. We can't wait to come back.

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot.... the perfect weekend getaway. The big tree swing was a hit, the chickens gave it a lovely farm-style feel, and the little dog was a friendly bonus! It was super kid-friendly, with plenty of space to explore and play. Everything was clean, quiet, and just as described. Thanks again Lisa for a great stay.... we’d definitely love to come back!

This was a great affordable place for a family to stay and explore the Gold Coast. Everything is 20-30 minutes away, which is fine. We would go out exploring all day or to the Theme Parks and come back for a peaceful quiet swim and relax afterwards. It was great to be able to prepare our own food.
