Guesthouse vacation rentals in Northern Norway

We really enjoyed our stay in Marita’s house! The house was stunning, comfortable and very well equiped. Even if we arrived very late in the evening, Marita took the time to give us a lot of informations regarding the house and the activities around. She even shown us northern lights just after checking in! The kids had a lot of fun with the sledges provided. The farm visit was a great moment and we had the chance to learn a lot about the reindeers. The possibility to rent nordic skis was also really appreciated.

Wonderful location near the Viking Museum (the feast is great fun!), and Eggum for midnight sun views. The house has everything you could need, with cozy bedroom on ground level and cute loft if any kiddos. Lill Mariann is super host ready with suggestions and cheerful greetings. No restaurants nearby, other than small cafe, so plan ahead - but it’s well worth staying here anyway!!

Peaceful and beautiful place. Mikko was really helpful and welcoming - we felt at home straight away.

Great host! Had a leak in the shower that was addressed instantly. Great fishing spot at the end of the road my kids really enjoyed and the sheep and lambs were a highlight for my daughter. Place was very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft und Kjetil war sehr freundlich und gut erreichbar. Es war wie auf den Bilder, kleine, kuschelige und sehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit super Sicht für Midnightsun. Alles in allen alles tip top👍👍.

Une petite cabine parfaite pour un séjour tranquille et proche de la nature et des attractions touristiques. Un petit paradis... Les aurores boréales, le soleil, les balades, l'Icehotel, les chiens de traîneau,... Que demander de plus. Ida-Marie est d'une grande aide, tout en se montrant discrète. J'ai adoré mon séjour de 7 nuits. Merci!

wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung, sie ist super von der Innenstadt zu erreichen und trotzdem in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und man hat sich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gerne :)

Wir wurden von der Vermieterin herzlich empfangen und durften unsere Motorräder im Carport abstellen. Die Wohnung war sehr gut. Alles wie beschrieben. Gerne wieder.

The place was beautiful, just as described, and easy to find. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. The beds were extremely comfortable too. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Rovaniemi I would definitely stay here again.

We really appreciated staying at Martina's accommodation. The accommodation is in a nice, quiet and beautiful area, a few kilometers from the city center of Boden. From the cottage you have a beautiful view over the lake, Boden and the surrounding hills. It was easy to communicate with Martina, and the accommodation is clean and well kept. If we would have stayed longer I would have liked to read some chapters of the books that are in the cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin in laxforsen. The cabin is easily reachable from the bus stop by foot and we were welcomed warmly by Simon. He also gave helpful advice for surrounding activites. We enjoyed the quiet space and the possbility to see the norhtern lights directly outside the cabin.

We had such a wonderful stay in Tomas and Maria's cabin. The communication was perfect, during the stay as well as before. Thanks to the equipment they borrowed us, we had wonderful ski and sledge tours. The cabin has everything you need and is very thoughtful equipped and of course, one of the highlights is the sauna. Lovely people and lovely place!

Der Aufenthalt war fantastisch und ein kleines Abenteuer. Peter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns mit dem Schneemobil auf die Insel gebracht und am Abreisetag früh morgens abgeholt. Die Unterkunft ist schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Insel mit Sauna und Whirlpool ist ein wundervolles Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ambiente elegante e ricercato. molto curato nei dettagli. Vista meravigliosa. appartamento molto confortevole ed accogliente. Era fuori di 50km rispetto al nostro percorso ma ne è valsa la pena. Host, coppia di nonni, molto ospitali e gentili. Noi siamo stati di passaggio purtroppo, meriterebbe fermarsi qualche giorno.

Schönes kleines Häuschen mit super bequemen Betten. Das Haus war geräumig genug für zwei Erwachsene und drei große Hunde. In der Küche gibt's alles was man braucht. Alles sehr ordentlich und sauber. Im Badezimmer gab's sogar viele verschiedene Pflegemittel und in der Küche auch verschiedene Sorten Tee und auch Kaffee. Olivia und Mikko haben sehr kurzfristig (zwei Stunden vor unsere Anreise) auf unsere Anfrage reagiert. Draußen gibt's eine kleine Terrasse mit der Morgensonne. Es war herrlich morgens den Kaffee dort zu trinken. Olivia und Mikko sind sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber. Gerne wieder.

Kine sitt sted var perfekt for et kort opphold i Tromsø, og vi fikk gode tips fra vertene. Det er fint å lage mat, eller man kan spise i nærheten hvis man ønsker det. Kort vei til sentrum og fjellheisen

Wir waren das 2. Mal in Lappland als Familie zu viert. Wir haben uns bei Marlene so gut gefühlt. Sie hat einen wunderschönen Hof mit tollem Ambiente. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir werden zu Marlene auf jeden Fall wieder fahren.

Cozy, well maintained house in a bit isolate, calm area. We couldn't use the outside patio because it was too cold and everything was covered by snow, but enjoyed relaxing with fireplace in the living room. Can see Russia from the window. Saw a reindeer while walking around in the afternoon. Northern light at night.

Eng.: The apartment was very cozy. It was a garage that had been converted into a living space — very warm and inviting. It was also very easy to find. From there, it was just a short walk, only a few meters or minutes, to catch the buses into the city. Gunnar also responded very quickly to any questions. I can highly recommend this Airbnb! Deutsch: Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich. Es war eine Garage, die in eine Wohnfläche umgebaut wurde — sehr warm und einladend. Sie war auch sehr einfach zu finden. Von dort aus war es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, nur wenige Meter oder Minuten, um die Busse in die Stadt zu erreichen. Gunnar hat auch sehr schnell auf alle Fragen geantwortet. Ich kann dieses Airbnb sehr empfehlen!

We had a fantastic stay at Ari’s place. Ari was extremely friendly, accommodating and had brilliant activities suggestions throughout our stay (which he kindly arranged for us last minute). We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities Ari had planned for us. The activities were hosted by locals in small groups and it was really personal and private. It felt very different from the usual tours we booked online. We would highly recommend anyone to choose this place, because it honestly far exceeded our expectations. We would choose to stay here again, in a heartbeat, if we were to come back to Rovaniemi.
